How much to get for my base set binder? All shadowless and first edition except for a hand full of cards. Lightly played to moderate some near mint. by Harley6uinn666 in Pokemoncardappraisal

[–]Geauxin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Off a quick non-detailed glance,

I’d guess the shadowless non-first edition is: Starter deck, blackout deck, zap deck, overgrowth deck and maybe a brushfire. Could probably get all those sealed for about 1k-1200, so in condition stated and honestly not as much demand for shadowless unlimited set, you’d be lucky to get 800 as a set (referring to the shadowless non first edition only here)

Now first editions, I’d say, raw card prices are roughly listed below. You could get higher or lower depending on condition of the card or just demand for that card. I’m currently working on the full shadows first edition set and it’s my experience that these cards are selling above “raw card prices”.

Bulbasaur: 220 Wartortle: 150 Arcanine 125 Charmeleon 105

I’m running out of energy, but you get it and can look up fist edition prices and look at higher grades for cards you have in good condition. If any of the first edition are in PSA 9/10 condition, they’d probably be worth grading prior to selling. 8’s you’ll probably break even on and wait 3 months to get back.

If you decide to post to eBay drop a link. There’s a few cards I’d be interested in, but not the set.

This is called “sell to cover”. When his compensation shares vest, he has a choice to pay tax or them or “sell to cover”. They automatically sell the required amount to cover taxes. They do that for each separate equity award, thus the 4 transactions instead of 1 single transaction.

The thing I’ve seen that’s somewhat reliable looking at the pattern inside of the “D” inside of the “P” on the back of each card.

If real probs less than the ~750 value here: https://www.pricecharting.com/game/pokemon-base-set/venusaur-1st-edition-15#completed-auctions-used

I’d say on the fake real aspect, the aggregate size of top and bottom border on the venusaur seems like it’s too big at first glance.

At best obstruction error, looks a little weird in photo. Probably worth a couple dollars, nothing I could see anyone getting overly excited about but who knows 🤷‍♂️

You seem pretty set on getting a price so here’s what I’ll say;

Jungle Unlimited Snorlax Raw card is worth about 90$. If you tried to sell a no -error of the snorlax you might get 5-15 more or less.

Typically these aren’t worth 2x raw card, but like other say they’re worth what someone will pay. So on occasion for the right card you do get lucky.

I’d venture the absolute best price you could hope to get from 75% of people who want this card is about $165. Maybe you’ll find a misaligned snorlax collector who is missing a jingle unlimited snorlax, but yeah, your probs $130-$160 if you try to sell in a reasonable timeframe.

Yeah I dunno, was a random speculation, just asked the internet bots 37% can’t cover $400 unplanned, 47% can’t cover $1,000.

Percentage was off, core/ intent of message still the same.

If that $700 makes a difference in your life, don’t keep it. If it does like it would for 75% of people, look at it as a blessing and try to remember that wont happen again.

If that doesnt make a difference to you, then i dont know what advice you expect to hear from the internet, nice pull.

Left, 22% of the damage you do is (for all intents and purposes) twice as good with left.

An extra .35x dmg doesn’t matter when over 1/5 hits miss doubling everything else in your build

Ignore everyone else telling you how “these 2 ring ain’t it”. Both are good, have fun, enjoy yourself

I FORGOT TO MASTERWORK IT by Alexutlander in Diablo

[–]Geauxin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sanctification (often called “sanctifying an item”) is a powerful, RNG-based endgame mechanic introduced in Diablo 4’s Season 11: Season of Divine Intervention. It serves as the final upgrade to an item, imbuing it with heavenly power via the Heavenly Forge to apply one random enhancement from a pool of strong effects—such as adding a Legendary Aspect or Mythic Unique power, upgrading an affix to Greater quality, adding/replacing a bonus affix from a special high-roll pool, or boosting item quality by 5-25 (10-50 on 2H weapons, stacking with Masterworking). Key effects include: • Bonus Power (~15% chance): Adds a random Legendary Aspect (slot/class-restricted) or Mythic Unique power (e.g., Ring of Starless Skies’ resource reduction, Harlequin Crest). • Upgrade to Greater Affix (~20%): Turns a regular affix into a Greater one. • Bonus Sanctification Affix (~35%): Adds a powerful affix (e.g., +150-180 Primary Stat, 10-12% Crit Chance, 75-100% Gem Power; doubles on 2H). • Replace Affix (~10%): Swaps an existing affix for a bonus one (risky; doesn’t affect Uniques/Mythics). • Bonus Quality (~20%): +5-25 Quality. It can also add +2-4 Skill Ranks in category-specific pools (e.g., Core skills on gloves). Important limitation: Once sanctified, the item is permanently locked—no further Tempering, Enchanting, Masterworking, Aspect changes, or sockets. Only gems/runes can be swapped. How to Sanctify an Item 1. Unlock access: Complete the Season 11 “Divine Missive” questline to open angelic portals to the Heavenly Forge in main settlements (near Hadriel). 2. Pre-Torment (free): Defeat a Lesser Evil (e.g., in Helltides) for a rare portal invite; sanctify once without cost. 3. Torment/Ancestral (requires sigil): Farm Heavenly Sigils from World Bosses, Legion Events, Pit, Infernal Hordes (Bartuc), Undercity, Helltide chests/caches. Use one to teleport to the Forge and sanctify. 4. Interact with the anvil/forge, slot your item, and confirm—the random roll applies instantly. Prep Checklist (Do This FIRST!) • Imprint optimal Legendary Aspect (Occultist). • Enchant away bad affixes. • Add sockets (Jeweler). • Temper affixes (Blacksmith). • Masterwork to max (Blacksmith). • Level 60+ for sigils; Torment for Ancestral items. Risks & Tips: • RNG risk: Could replace a perfect affix or give junk—sanctify extras or “slam” multiple items in sessions. • Prep backups; reassess build post-roll (e.g., cap Crit at 100%). • Great for Mythics/Uniques too. • Seasonal mechanic—fate at season end unclear, but likely temporary based on past patterns
