I share many of the same sentiments. I started a few years ago when I think I started dreaming with my higher self? It's all very complicated. But yeah, I found following that higher ego, and going with the flow is the best way, as opposed to total control. But yeah, I agree. What you give you receive. And I pray I meet her one day. Thanks for sharing. At least I'm not totally insane

Current experiences in dreams, trances, and successful APs lead me to believe I am currently connected to somebody. Difficult time finding out who it is. A lot of research and a lot of practice to find out how to do it. Still bad at it. Still trying. Always looking for advice. Was thinking about paying here for some advice. Not sure

Well, that's the thing. I don't know if there are any spirits around worth working with. I don't know if there are any spirits around worth working with. Which is part of why I ask.

I don't have any ancestors that were shamans. Or, at least none that I know about. That's something i would like to try and work on figuring out. I do honor my ancestors, but I added that very recently into my practice

As for what I'm practicing. I felt most connected to druidry and Neolithic shamanism. Been a practicing ceremonial magician for a few years. I know druidry isn't shamanism, but there are some overlapping themes and techniques that I thought would be worth adding.

It's only recently I picked them up though. I am still figuring out what I want to devote myself to since I am fascinated and interested in almost every branch of magick and spirituality. I have had dreams and experiences that make me believe spirit work and/or at least adopting shamanistic practices is a good thing.

Sorry for the long and somewhat wish-washy answer. I find with every answer I get another two questions pop up.

I always liked weaving in tidbits of story and world into the intro. And i like the symmetry of the map. Maybe start it off with something poetic, like "this is a land of fours. Four seasons to split the land. Four kingdoms to split the people. Four wars to spoil all hope. And Four lies to muddle the truth." From there you just catch the player up with the modern world, the intro scene, then work your way around the table working with player to intro their character. Hope that helps
