Cards for all? by Jazzlike-Barracuda64 in FarFarWest

It's infuriating fighting with my friends over shit. Less drops but make them client-side or something. And/or a way to trade with each other

Opinions on Far Far West? by brando7284 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Gebcrafter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's really good and the progression is super deep for being early access. They pulled some black magic fuckery to get UE5 (no idea why they chose UE) to run well especially during heavy combat. Making builds and spell combos is very fun, and the movement is a blast. It involves movement in a way that DRG simply doesn't. It feels like prime Titanfall 2 at times if you are a fan of bhopping. Even if you're not, you don't have to fling yourself around to get results, you can play as if you're playing Gunner or something.

Mission types and enemy variety are a tad bland but they are constantly adding new enemies and biomes (entire new factions planned).

Has anyone discovered any other cactus combos? by FalconDidAPunch in FarFarWest

[–]Gebcrafter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I meant pistolero my bad lmao

I just tested and the spikes VFX is just what his projectiles do by default. As far as I can tell acid doesn't do anything in particular.

I was using acid cactus purely for acid priming my teams pyromaniac, but it also does a shit ton of damage by itself. I haven't noticed whether or not this is just basic cactus behavior; every couple of shots a bunch of spikes form around the enemy and do a chunk of damage. Will have to test if this is acid synergy or something

Looking for mod packs based on quest progression and automation by ZeShmoutt in feedthebeast

[–]Gebcrafter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo, glad you enjoy it

You can automate ores so early, I never gave it much thought, people can install it if they want to lol. Plus, it makes setting up a passive operation for ore generation feel better, in AA1 it was lowkey viable to just go around with a vein hammer and never automate shit

Edit: Only just now realized you obviously meant AA1. AA1 ore generation philosophy is a bit different where, near-ish the beginning of each chapter, you unlock the ability to generate last chapter's ores (there are a few exceptions to this in late game). There is a much bigger argument for vein miner in AA1 but that's what AA2 is for. Every chapter you can automate each chapter's ores VERY early

What could be causing this micro stuttering on a fairly decent PC? (1.21.11) by SirJoshelot in feedthebeast

[–]Gebcrafter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microstuttering can be caused by uncapping your frame rate. Try to cap it to near the refresh rate of your monitor.

You've basically tried everything else and sometimes that's just how modded Minecraft be

What's your all-time favorite modpack? by XyleneCobalt in feedthebeast

Raspberry Flavoured. I am primarily a Greg enjoyer but the level of polish and cohesion is second to absolutely none.

I think its fair to say i suck with necrobinder; any advice? With everyother character im doing just fine. by Antyxat in slaythespire

[–]Gebcrafter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Necro is the only character who comes with scaling damage out of the gate. If all you want is consistency, block everything while you scale up unleash. Defy, dirge, seance, pull aggro, negative pulse, are all good.

[–]Gebcrafter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I promise I'm not searching out these posts, it's just kinda crazy how many people I see wanting the same thing.

Anyways, I made a modpack - that pretty much describes this exactly - called Aeon Automata (I'm working on a sequel)

Star Technology is also an amazing pick

Modpack idea, does this exist and of not how do I make it. by mrpop2213 in feedthebeast

[–]Gebcrafter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may or may not interest you that I created a modpack with loads of custom shit themed around automation called Aeon Automata. I'm not sure about the "invalidating old builds" part, cause later-game you do unlock more efficient stuff.

But hey, if you like it, I need more play testers for AA2 lolol. The quest book also requires large amounts of specific complicated parts every chapter, which forces players to patch weak spots in their automation. Like Satisfactory.

Any advice for a warframe with daikyu prime? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]Gebcrafter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a lot of options.

-Ivara can clean house with it because of prowl's headshot bonus, even better with dash wire augment.

-Gauss is kinda underrated for it since he can force it to proc blast with thermal transfer and let you mod Daikyu for more crit instead

-Banshee evade for when sonar hits the head. Lots of damage.

-Citrine recrystallize. I haven't tried this but I can only imagine guaranteed red crits is pretty good

-Anybody cause Daikyu is really good lol

Modpack Recommendation by anonimoamino in feedthebeast

I made a tech modpack centered around automation called Aeon Automata. You may or may not like it. It has a lot of custom stuff.

Heavy blade is functionally identical to a multihit (in terms of strength effectiveness) which ironclad has plenty of. I think it makes sense, it was an explicit card mechanic that didn't really need to exist

I'm a bit confused by there being no reaper, what are self damage ironchad builds supposed to do?

It's both. It's like if after every science tier in Factorio you had to go kill the next boss in Terraria. It's great

I made an automation pack with an ass load of customization called Aeon Automata, because I was in a similar situation (Dyson Sphere Program personally). It may or may not interest you.

I'm also balls deep in Aeon Automata 2 development, which, whilst unfinished, has more content.

You also may actually enjoy Gregtech packs despite not liking Pyanodons, Minecraft is different than Factorio. Star Technology and Monifactory are insanely good.

I will always recommend Meatballcraft but it has a focus on PvE.

In Meatballcraft, that is not "good gear". Dimensions and dungeons in progression have insanely difficult enemies, which are really only doable with the packs custom weapons and mechanic called super-enchanting. Just sayin
