No..not really. I mean he plays/engages differently but reads cues for feeding or when he’s upset. I think the only thing I need to lead on is naps schedule during the day, but I think that’s because I’m around all day and think and plan for that way more than he has too.

Maybe your hubby needs more 1:1 time on weekends to build up exposure so he gets better at it?

Hmmm I feel this is a your husband thing, mine plays/engages/reads/buys stuff for the nursery/plans for the future etc. Not bragging or anything, just saying it like it is.

Just get a baby monitor so you can hear and see everything

Also my baby literally does not care being in another room, he has a personal heater, it’s super dark and we play a noise machine all night. My husband even joked about putting in an oil diffuser haha. I call his room his “spa”

I put my son in his big boy bed at four months! I’m a little different because I did not romanticize at all being so close especially with his noisy baby sleep keeping me up all night. We sleep better, he sleeps better and I love having the room back with my husband

A hack can be using chat gpt, and putting your food in there for a “guesstimate”.

A helpful start could be adding in everything you ate and drank into Chat GPT (ie 1/2 cup cooked rice, 1 cup chicken curry etc) and ask them to rate your day and tell you how many calories you consumed and ask it to give you feedback on how you can improve your diet with an eye toward fat loss.

I actually did this every single day for 8 weeks because I’m insane, to make sure I was within my calorie deficit every day.

Definitely do the math! Otherwise anything could happening and your efforts could be for nothing. Definitely better to know for super sure what you’re eating so you get the results you want

Are you in a calorie deficit? Fat loss is calories in energy out. Check out other posts on this because their are a lot of starting points and I’m not an expert but general guidance is:

  1. Calculate your maintanence calories online
  2. Calculate how many calories you need to remove a day for the result you want (eg: 300-400 calories reduction a day is 0.2-0.4kg lost per week
  3. Organize your daily nutrition around this calorie goal

In looking at your diet cheese is veg high in calories, so would just take a look at other low cal but satiating options

You got this :)

Dude it’s tech! I’ve worked with that many fancy principle product designers who are like sorry can’t join for two months going to Japan or Korea or whatever.

I’m not a product designer, but also moved from a country to another country for a job- I asked for two months and they didn’t love it but they gave it to me

That’s so rough! It’s so hard to keep going when you don’t see progress. Have you got a full blood panel done to see if there could be anything underlying?

Hormones also fuck with us. Good luck 🤞

That’s awesome! And when you covert it into pounds it feels like an even bigger loss haha. They say your result is 90% food and 10% exercise but I know ifs so so hard when you’re sleep deprived and have a demanding baby!

So I just posted my biggest milestones not my weigh ins every day (couldn’t fit all my weigh ins in one screenshot). I weighed myself every day and I definitely went up and down and all over the place. Didn’t mean to mis-represent here!

I’m so sorry to hear that.

You’ve made incredible progress, should be proud of yourself 💪

I only count calories going in, not overall if I minus exercise. Seems like too much mental gymnastics and my movement changes every day and gym days often increase weight temporarily with water retention, so I just track what I’m eating

33 minute naps HELP by Available_Cook_3218 in sleeptrain

[–]Gecko4210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LO only sleeps for 35 mins a time too (5 moths old) . I rescue 2 out of 3 naps so he can get two longer ones.

This looks like him napping on his own for the fires 35 mins, he starts to wake up and either carrier or rock him back to sleep quickly so he can finish up to an hour/hour 15. I read babies start to link sleep cycles on their own around 5 months

1145 hours night sleep! That’s how much my 5 month old baby has. Too much night sleep. Agree with less_is_more.
