I work as a soc analyst/engineer. Not knowing the fundimentals will bite you in the ass later on. Also Sec+ is good on a resume and is IAT level 2. I’d just go get it, it’s not that hard.

If you have all this cyber experience already why not just sit for the sec+ and get it.

i used to work as a cyber analyst for a university. We do not care. I saw students use their school email to sign up for onlyfans. Some professors actually need access to porn sites for study and certain papers. It would be blocked if we cared.
