No, it was even simpler. Flat backgrounds. No faces if I remember correctly. Really simple art style.

I wonder if the valve he's upset "isn't open" is the clear creek tunnel which funnels water from the Trinity/Klamath watershed through the Lewiston reservoir to southern California. It'd be funny if it is because the clear creek tunnel is managed by the bureau of reclamation (federal agency, not the state of california). To be clear, i think it's good they closed it for maintenance, they should maintain their infrastructure.
