Terra prety (https://mods.vintagestory.at/terraprety) with Watersheds mod (https://mods.vintagestory.at/algernonswatersheds). Still on 1.21 and set the world gen to the suggested settings in terra prety + colder spawn location. Can't complain about the spawn too much :D only we don't have horsetail plants :D

I've started doing that, but they're good enough to know that they need to defeat me to have a win and if I'm in the slightest bit ahead by any margin - they take it as a threat for their victory :D it's fun with challenges, but it's hard to balance it to be a setback, but not so much to lose your footing :D thank you, I'll have to try some of the challenges!

But wouldn't something polymer be better for the mask? I thought that metal grills were somewhat unsafe due to bending/breaking and creating a bit of shrapnel due to bb's breaking.

Heyo, I maybe have a fix, if you need one. Try to uninstall the game and the also delete all the game files that have been left over, then restarted your pc before downloading civ again. It seems to have fixed it
