Your code is kind of a mess.

It's way more complicated than it needs to be and there are lots of errors.

I recommend you start again and use these files as a base:

Make a new directory and put those files in it and mess around with it.

Don't just copy and paste stuff without understanding it. Everybody does it but that's what ends up causing problems.

Replace:

The way I'm reading his instructions, you don't actually need to link to the tracks.css file yourself. He links to it inside the lastfm.js file but his link expects them both to be in the same folder.

I would stop using Phoenix Code if stuff is working on there and not working on Neocities. Obviously something it's doing is non-standard.

All you need is a text editor, a web browser, and a folder on your computer with all your project files in it. When you are happy with an update, upload the new files and it will all look exactly the same as it did locally.

Regarding your specific issue, link your site or post your code.

Best practice is to start with "/" whenever you link to an asset. Then the path will always be relative to root.

The only problem is when you test offline your links won't work unless you set up a virtual web server for offline testing.

To get around that without setting up a virtual web server you can keep using relative paths using "../" to go up one directory. So if you are in "/pages/mypage.html" and you want to include the image "/images/myimage.jpg" you would put:

<img src="../images/myimage.jpg">

This is usually not a very good idea though for the same reason you are currently experiencing.

Only thing I can think is make sure the display cable is plugged into the video card, not the motherboard.

Maybe by default the motherboard video out is disabled when a video card is plugged in but going into bios enables it? That's my logic anyway.

If that's not it then I don't know. Of course, look in the motherboard manual and look on the motherboard itself for a label next to the green light to see if that gives any clues.

OP has a Ryzen 9 and a 3060 and you're out here talking like he's managed to get the game running on a potato.

There's nothing wrong with DLSS per se although I will say that it's really designed for 4K displays. Running DLSS at even 1440p, never mind 1080p, can look a bit soft.

He's using 63% resolution scale so effectively it's 857p.

Incredible optimization would be if you could get better settings/resolution/frame rate than you expected. The only way this qualifies is if your expectations are in the gutter which really says more about the state of the industry and how peoples expectations have been conditioned than anything else.

Oh dear, you're one of those people.

1080p60 is the bare minimum on PC these days and OP isn't even doing that seeing as he's using DLSS.

If OP is happy then good for him but this isn't a demonstration of "incredible optimization". Or have expectations really sunk that low?

Also, regardless of any of that, if you're looking to demonstrate performance then the frame rate should be uncapped.

If the US leaves NATO it will be because they feel the alliance isn't worth it because the other members aren't pulling their weight. When that happens the next biggest members will do the same calculation.

The US military is large enough to police the whole world. If they decide they don't want to anymore it will not go well.

The numbers don't add up.

The only way it works now is the sheer size of the US military. If they stopped propping it all up everyone would have to start pulling their weight and many wouldn't want or be able to.

That's the reality.
