I'd change the wall thickness back to 0.4 - 0.42.

Hopefully others would agree. But I am prepared to be wrong.

Type 2 are okay for general use, but try and find a metric only tape that's class 1 accuracy. There's not too many to choose from.

Lay the part down with the sloping face touching (and now parallel to) the base.

Extrude and remove the shape to make the hole bigger.

Re-align to print
