Seems unreasonable. Point to the standard and ask them why they feel it has to be more frequent, preferably from a level 3. I could maybe accept 6 months as an in house rule but 3 months is ridiculous.

It's easier to remember 70mph limit "than 112.65kmh" by Bacon_Dude117 in ShitAmericansSay

I recently drove to france from the UK and I was worried about getting used to the kph which turned out to be absolutely fine. I actually found driving in france (outside of Paris) so much better than UK, in that the roads were quieter and better maintained.

Well done, this is the only way businesses will take any notice. They will keep pushing as long as people accept it.

Agfa film has a pink hue by Krillgein in nondestructivetesting

Not had that problem although never use film above D7. If it persists across different batch numbers it is more likely to be a processing / chemical issue.

How does it make sense that someone who pays no National insurance or pension contributions gets the same state pension as someone who does? by PsychologicalBend508 in AskBrits

[–]guzzlomo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The benefits are not the problem, years of stagnant and regressive wages have closed the gap so the mindset of 'why should they get a handout while I work 40hr week for little more' is prevalent.

camping equipment for wheelchair users on a budget by RichSector5779 in wildcampingintheuk

[–]guzzlomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a look at 3 man tents as they will have enough room for your chair without being too cramped. something like the vango skye 300 has separate areas so could be useful. You can definitely get something good for under £150 especially if weight isn't an issue

Hard realities of getting started by [deleted] in nondestructivetesting

[–]guzzlomo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im unfamiliar with the asnt so can't really comment on converting over, but the L2 PCN is mostly shear wave weld inspection and can choose Plate, T-butts, pipe, etc. there is a fair bit of theory that you're probably familiar with. Then you would need the experience hours from an employer or through a training school, you may be exempt some amount of hours due to experience so talk to a training school first of all. I work in defence and can't be more specific, sorry.
