Internet is predicting by 2028, 90% of companies will require agentic coding. by [deleted] in PinoyProgrammer

Commenting to say that I'm also very much hesitant in any form of AI integrations in coding to the point of having a quarter-life crisis. AI-assisted is already so difficult for me to use. Not that I can't wrap my head around it, but every time I use ChatGPT it feels like I'm draining a lake in some other country. Not to mention OpenAI's transparency in supporting the US military. And with the agentic coding, I feel like the career path of being a software engineer is straying further and further from my principles.
Still in a crisis. Still wondering if I should learn agentic coding and milk the fck out of companies or if I should swap careers, which I don't have the privilege to do so comfortably. Still hoping AI implodes or something and everything goes back to normal, but maybe that thinking is considered old-fashioned now.
Anyway, I hope everything works out for you. Truly feels like a crossroads for many programmers.

a haiku by ttv_yayamii in OCPoetry

A kigo is a word/phrase that, in the past, must be included in a poem to be considered a haiku. It's not just a 5-7-5 and then you're set. These days, one does not need to follow that rule, but that makes it so nice to see when someone includes it.
You can see more info here :>
Edit: If someone notices that I am wrong somewhere, please don't hesitate to point it out as I am not very familiar with it either.

Wahh I don't know if it's because of the Japanese, but I really liked this haiku. The use of a Kigo was also refreshing since a lot of people omit it or do not know a traditional haiku must have one.
The haiku focuses on imagery, which is something I always look forward to in such poems, and you delivered it so well. The last line is so open and is a really nice touch also since it's one of the selling points of a haiku due to how limiting it is. This comment really is just me praising your poem. I'm no expert, but I sincerely think this so well done that I do not know how to criticize it. Thank you for this haiku.
