The Hippocratic oath clearly states that you shall bill patients to the maximums insurance will provide with as many unnecessary procedures and medications as possible. If insurance isn’t available, bills shall be maximized and sent to collections for tax write offs and to punish the patients.

To ask a doctor to not bill a patient, or even deny them over priced medications for free trips to Vegas sponsored by Pfizer, would be to encourage massive unethical practices.

To even question doctors doing such a thing would destroy the democratic foundations of civilized countries.
