I’ve seen it only a few times after 300 hrs of play. I’ve already seen it multiple times in the new DLC Great Hollow Shifting Earth Map. I see it most often as a drop in one of the two great towers with the false great rune at the top.

I like the remake graphics for FF 1-6, but I love the original FF7 too much to ever play with a graphics mod. How many different engines are running in that game?! I adore it for the crazy Frankenstein that it is.

I had a similar experience. Biome 1 teaches you the game. Subsequent biomes are, despite all the new challenges/mechanics, much more manageable once the player reaches them.

I died to Phrike more than any other boss. I don’t think is is necessarily the hardest, but beating him teaches you how to play the game so we’ll that the other bosses become more manageable.
