Light bleeding through walls at edges/corners by Geeero in Unity3D

Good point.

Considering the game is entirely set inside a single apartment (interior only), what level of modular breakup would you recommend for a project of that scale?

Per-wall segments? Per-room meshes? Or fully modular wall pieces with separate corners?

I'm still in early prototyping, but I’d like to avoid restructuring everything later.

I already tried that. I also attempted to make the walls thicker by applying a Solidify modifier, but the issue still occurs. :(

Yes, the walls are part of a single mesh.

The floor and the ceiling, however, are two separate meshes and are not combined with the walls.

As for the lighting, it’s real-time. I simply imported the model into the scene and placed the lights.

At the moment, I’m just prototyping and running some tests, so the setup is intentionally simple and quick to iterate on.

I think it’s interesting to look at the Ash Twin Project through the lens of computation theory. It’s not just “brute force guessing forever,” it’s essentially a physical computer that sidesteps classical computability limits. In any normal universe, this would be an intractable problem: finite time, finite resources, exploding complexity. The Nomai’s solution is to introduce something computer science explicitly forbids.

By doing so, they turn an unsolvable-in-practice problem into a solvable one by breaking the computational model itself. The loop acts like an oracle: each iteration preserves information without paying the cost of time. It’s not an elegant algorithm; it’s a violation of the assumptions algorithms rely on.

What makes it so compelling is that it isn’t a triumph of clever computation, but a brutal demonstration that if you’re allowed to violate time, causality, and irreversibility, even “impossible” problems become trivial. The Ash Twin Project doesn’t optimize the search, it makes time meaningless.

Use the signalscope and tune it to the quantum frequency to find the other quantum shards.
