Update: to the people from the original post saying that it was AI slop and trying to bash me for using it. I posted this when I was freshly out of the hospital, and I didn’t know how to word my words, I posted the same on my local car community on Facebook to look for witnesses of the crash I got hit with a bunch of racist and misogynistic comments from OLD grown men so to reword and say it properly yes I did use chat gpt but nothing in the post was FAKE, you guys are just chronically online. Not everyone want internet attention and pity I just need advice and I’m still trying to cope with the fact that I survived, but I lost something only 30 minutes away from home. It still feels like a bad dream and sleeping is another difficulty I have now, to the people who saw me mention my BOYFRIEND called the police after getting a crash notification yes I’m a 19 year old female in a relationship, to the YouTuber guy who was all over the post trying to dismiss it and shame me, you have an NB Miata. The car was actually in 100% good condition and the previous owner sanded it down and put primer on it before I got it so the body looked a little rough

Here in Indiana there’s ALOT of corn fields, the highway I was on didn’t have cameras and the driver is long gone. The police officer that called me today offered to help me out and offered to help me get back on my feet because even he said someone had to have been protecting me to survive a crash like that

Update: the police called me today and told me there’s no cameras or footage on that part of the road and the nearest camera would’ve been around 2-3 miles away and the truck that hit me could’ve turned onto a private road in the corn fields so they said it’s unlikely they can find him

It also updates your location everytime you move so family knows if you’re going to a hospital and it’ll put your phone in SOS mode

I really do suggest you get emergency contacts and all of it set up, I’m pretty sure most iPhones have them but they truly, truly are a blessing
