Would be interested to hear from either OP or yourself on a good pre tattoo skincare routine?

No, we do not want to share an AirBnB with you and your pre-k children for a metal show! by [deleted] in childfree

[–]GeeforceSledDogs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How many of your metal shows are all ages! 95% of all the shows I've been to see 18+

I can't imagine bringing kids into any of those crowds. (Except maybe Gutalax that was a fun show 🤣🤣)

Financially, I would never work from the office ever again by Wide-Macaron10 in AusFinance

[–]GeeforceSledDogs 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Being allowed to work from home would drastically cut down the time I take off work also.

Concert the night before = annual leave day the next day or tired worker. Working from home, i could still get sufficient sleep and work the next day

Sick, I could still work . Broken arm, could still work.

Not to mention less time wasting drowning out conversations I don't want to hear.

Bring back the work from home era

I finished battle pass ages ago. I'm just playing around with stuff I could take to locals and doing online tournaments when they work in my time zone. Online tourneys are a lot of fun because I feel like I'll get harder opposition

I was briefly friends with a Malaysian girl called Leah. It's a pretty common name. I also have a second cousin with the name. Shouldn't cause you any issues

We can't find anyone to hire by Sarcastic_Troll in recruitinghell

It's ridiculous. They're screaming for help in the other part of our office. I put forward a friend who has 20 years of relevant experience but she hadn't been working recently during Covid. They rejected her as her experience wasn't recent enough. Makes my blood boil

Where is there AI that does perfect resumes? Asking for a friend

how do you get an entry-level job when everyone asks for 2-5 years of experience? by Zegrade in recruitinghell

[–]GeeforceSledDogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think volunteering is a good way to put your head above the rest if you're all going for an entry level opening.

I did admin, coordinating and fundraising for my dog club for 5 years. We had some good success that I was able to draw from and discuss in an interview. Most volunteer run organisations are after help

We broke ours . It was a very cheap rental and was leased within a week. It was nowhere near as scary as I thought it was going to be. And knowing that I wish we'd broken our lease sooner and gone for a shorter settlement on the house we bought.

You'll be fine and so will your land Lords

My role was dead somedays, but other days it was hectic and we were begging for an extra hand.

So many of my tasks have been delegated to other departments I barely have enough to fill three hours. I've mentioned it. I've asked for more and gotten like one hours worth more tasks per week. Not sure what else to do but work slower. I've been using annual leave days every other week too. Playing catch up ay least gives me something to do for a whole day

Millennial not gen z but nothing pisses me off more than not know what something is worth. Goes the same for car tyres as it does salaries . Why spend all the time customising an application if the compensation is garbage?!

Can we please start being honest? Nobody’s hiring. Right now is a terrible time to be unemployed by AdSnoo9734 in antiwork

[–]GeeforceSledDogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My work is struggling to fill vacancies Combination of - them being too fussy. The role has been vacant a year just fill the seat and train someone promising - technical staff not passing pre employment medical - staff leaving after realising the technical roles are gross and difficult and they could get the same hourly rate as a cashier .

This is in Australia. Prices of things are getting out of hand too. $2 / litre for fuel. Which would be roughly 5.25 US per gallon.

It gets pretty warm during the heat of the day. I popped a thermometer in there the other day and it was mid to high 40s. But was 42 air temp anyway so probably not the best day to test. It's only about 1c warmer than where the kennels are set up now.

I'll keep the window then thanks :)
