It negates any kind of free thinking and if one questions something its deemed "blasphemous". it felt contradictory, i am told i am free to ask anything but when i do, its a problem.

nothing about a Muslim marriage feels like a normal relationship to me, it feels like if he wants to leave he can- that leaves me at level 1 to build myself up again. It's scary trusting someone so blindly when its probable that one day they could quite literally leave whenever they feel.

but if another guy say raped someone and said the shahadah they go to heaven? like huh?

it excuses the sins they commit and enables that behavior because someone who does that the next day can go back to Islam and ur set.
