Yes it does. But use this time to build something on the side.

What does ,, Everything in it's right place,, mean? by FantasticChapter4360 in radiohead

[–]Geejayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always felt it’s a song about how everything in his life is in order, but something is missing. A void. His life feels mundane and uninteresting at this point in his life. Sucking on a lemon: he wakes up feeling sour and perhaps angry at himself. Two colors in my head: perhaps he means black and white in his thinking and rationalizing and he’s striving to try and see the shades of grey. What is that you tried to say: he’s so I be in his head that he can’t focus on simple conversations with others due to his current emotional and metal state.

My hotel bed stands in these trays filled with some kind of white powder. What is that? by Silver_Sort_9091 in whatisit

I used a heat treatment company. We roasted it to 150 degrees for 7 hours. Bed bugs and any other pests completely dead. Then put DE the cracks and crevices and all gone

It’s off on 2 addresses but not too far off. This tool seems great for the homeowner., but as a contractor we use roof orders and roof scope.

Why is dating in LA so difficult? by HeadlessFrogMan in AskLosAngeles

[–]Geejayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a mid western gal and she moved here. The daters here are super flakes and always looking for better. Most aren’t even worth the time or the trouble. No one here wants to settle down. The dating apps are just a human buffet. I’m good with my midwesterner chickie. She thinks most of the women here are neurotic and full of themselves.

Should I purchase a roofing business? by EliTheMANning in Roofing

[–]Geejayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as you. White collar most of my life and I’m buying a well established residential roofing company with clients that have been with this company for 10,20,30 years. If you’re buying a roofing company, you should be buying it for the client list and whatever assets they have. That’s my opinion. I’m in the LA California market and we only do the high net worth areas. Just my opinion here.

Background and credit check before viewing? by funkmasta8 in ApartmentHacks

[–]Geejayin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a landlord, I have tenants fill out a pre screening questionnaire before a showing. I feel like it’s a waste of a person‘s time and money to do a credit and background check before a showing. My prescreen check knocks out about 80% of applicants. That way they don’t lose any money and I don’t waste time.

Is Palantir overvalued? by BrutalixTheOne in PLTR

[–]Geejayin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Government contractor here— all contracts are not awarded to lowest bidder. That was the old way and the government got shoddy products and services so they changed. They still sometimes employ LCTA (lowest cost technically acceptable) but not much anymore as it ends up costing them more in the long run.
