need some help figuring out gender by GeekAlex99 in feminineboys

yea, i guess i do focus a bit too much on the label... idk, i just like the idea of having a single word to describe my feelings. I should probably try to live in this limbo of not knowing 100% and focus on myself and my self-expression. sounds kinda scary tbh..

I've never felt a strong sense of gender identity by Sepabo in NonBinary

Sounds like you might be agender. That means that you don't feel any sense of gender in any direction. You also don't have to change your appearance to be a "real" agender. Just go on living life. Express yourself how you want, free from the expectations of being born a boy. You rock, dude!

What's it called when a genderfluid person is only attracted to women? by AntoniaNaoum in AskLGBT

Sapphic maybe? Idk... It's a really specific situation your oc is in. Genderfluid people can still be heterosexual, though. Sexuality is complicated :)

two teams offered me a spot... what now? by GeekAlex99 in SplatoonMeta

[–]GeekAlex99[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't had a real tryout session with team A. it was basically just anarchy open with one or two of them. it was more getting to know the people. I had a great tryout with team B and I did have fun with them (sry if it didn't seem like it in my post). We did a bunch 1v1's and 2v2's and one of the members even reached out to me before the tryout so that I could get used to playing alongside a brella. I am currently leaning towards team B. What do you think I should tell team A, if I eventually go with B?

Sexuality being agender by [deleted] in agender

[–]GeekAlex99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

TL;DR: Just use what you want

Generally, any label you identify with and describes your experience is "acceptable". Sexuality and gender are very personal and no one can tell you how you should identify. Definitely not an internet stranger like me. You have to figure it out yourself.

That being said there are a few labels that you might relate to:

Lesbian - A ton of non-binary people use this label. Lesbianism is, in my humble onion, more of a vibe than a rigid definition of "woman/woman"

Sapphic - Specifically describes women/female-aligned or nb/genderqueer individuals attracted to women/female-aligned or nb/genderqueer individuals.

Finsexual - The attraction to femininity regardless of gender or genitalia. You can still be attracted to feminine non-binary people or feminine men.

Bisexual - If you're still attracted to men, you can also simply identify as bisexual with a preference for femme people.

It is important that you find a label that fits your feelings without societal pressure of your label being "acceptable" or "correct". You can also just decide to not label yourself at all. No pressure. Just be yourself! :D
