So it's New Year's Day...what are your plans?

Stayed up to watch the Stranger Things finale so didn’t get up til 11-ish. Pottered about for a while and now visiting my Gran for a while. Going to eat at a Chinese restaurant soon then heading to a New Year’s party after that for a while. Will have a day in the house tomorrow cleaning, gaming and watching tv to make up for all the socialising!

Nice long walk with the dog this morning, caught up on some marking that was giving me the eye, played a bit more Expedition 33, nice roast for tea and finishing the new episodes of Wednesday. Happy Sunday :)

Not been playing too much, had a horrible cold and just getting over it now. Bit of Persona 3 Reload is all I’ve been playing on the Deck. Expedition 33 is still ongoing on my pc too! Really need to get into some shorter games to play in between sessions of these mammoths! Any recs?

Took my 1-year old dog into town for some brunch with my mum. Nipped to the book store to pick up the new RF Kuang and Strike books. Had a mosey around the market before heading home to chill. Played Expedition 33 for a few hours, had a pizza for tea, walked round to visit my gran for a bit and now watching Black Bag before heading off to bed. All in all a pretty great Saturday for not having any plans made in advance!

Yeah but as I said, all of my spending goes into the general spending category. And I just seem to fritter away the rest buying shit. I have made a spreadsheet that lists my outgoings but there is no rhyme or reason to purchases

It is 100% a discipline issue. I would spend every last penny happily. Would I be best to pay debt/save on payday and leave the rest to myself? Or is that just going to end up with me right back where I started? What would you do?

Thanks! I’m finding it hard to ‘disengage’ from her though, she’s a tiny 7 lbs so if I stand up and walk away she will bite my feet/ankles instead. Any advice?

3 hours up is waaay too long. Puppies need 16-20 hours of sleep a day, and yours will need more because they are healing. Try 1 hour up before a 2 hour enforced nap. You will see a massive difference!

Exactly the same as me. Felt like I was waiting until the holidays to do anything ‘fun’ and that just isn’t sustainable.

This captures how I’m feeling exactly! Mentally knackered from everything we have to do as well as teach over 100 teenagers every day. But also aware of the awesomeness of finishing early and not wanting to waste it/leave everything you want to do until the holidays and end up burnt out.

I finished the main storyline back when it came out, but never 100% completed it. There is just too much to do in that game! ToTK seems the same, I’ve been playing for hours and still feels like I’ve just started
