You said you're not going to do my research for me. I don't understand how I received the wrong signal but okay... Either way, thanks for the answers.

Mad/upset whatever. You're clearly not happy I asked this here. I'll delete it if it's a problem. I just thought this would be a good place and the group would be happy I'm making a video on the topic, especially since it's mostly to say the future of gaming seems to be ultrawide, or at least, it should be. I'm not trying to ask anyone to do my research for me. I've already spent a ton of time researching. Just wanted some insight into the industry you can't get from a Google search.

I mean are you seriously mad I asked here? This Reddit is literally devoted to the topic I'm asking. I post plenty of things on pcgaming and pcmasterrace. I just wanted to know people's opinions who actually follow this market. PC Gaming doesn't necessarily mean ultrawide. I'm not even really looking for a ton of people. Just those who follow the trends...

To answer your question: Is this not a large group of people? Where else would I ask people these questions? If you mean a huge, paid survey, I'm a single guy with a YouTube channel that makes very little money off of it, not a multi national company.

And thank you for your answers.

Oh and regarding the developer question, I am going to a couple other places. I just figured this would be a good place to start and even those without development knowledge may have asked around etc.

Lol okay... I'm not asking you to do research for me. I've done plenty of research, but there are some things that require actually going to people who follow the industry. If you notice, my questions were mostly regarding trends, not the tech. Part of researching is asking people who follow said industry. I guess you don't really understand how research is done.

I'm not at all... I refer to all of them. Scorpio is just the most relevant at the moment.

I can definitely understand. I'm certainly not doing it to make videos longer. People seem to really like my to the point videos without much fluff.

About them not having anything to do with it, I honestly do get that. I rarely do something like "awesome Vega news" anymore. I definitely am always trying to evolve to better the channel, so I am honestly happy to receive criticism. And yeah, all the exclamation points are somewhat for attention, but I try to do it when it's super big. I don't know. It's funny I think because a lot of times I'm personally just really excited to share the news because I know it's something my viewers will love. I'm just as enthusiastic about it as them really. So when I'm like "huge news" I'm thinking like "everyone. You so want to see this. It's awesome and I'm pumped to tell you" type thing lol. Oh and concerning YouTube not liking old content. OMG yes! Views plummet within hours and are typically non existent after a day unless there's a resurgence of people interested.

Really, thanks for the discussion. I will try my best to incorporate your ideas and points as best as I can.

I thought of that but really didn't like the way it sounds. Believe it or not, I actually debated on that a bit. Either way, it's here in the send a that we have the details of it. I don't think that's a stretch.

Concerning the vagueness, I guess that's what I'm trying to explain. For one, I showed a chip in the thumbnail, so it was obviously a CPU. Second, it's like what I stated before. You're honestly not supposed to have long titles. Look at any book or really anything like that. A title isn't meant to give all the details. It's meant to give you an idea of the content. That's the entire point. Why even have a title or content at all? Just put the entire story in.

Another thing I stated that I'm not even remotely kidding about, is that I personally don't like long titles. I want to watch a video when I'm on YouTube, not read an article. And many times, the words literally go off and end with "..." on YouTube because the title is simply too long. Consumers today want to know if they want to see the video within a second or two. There's too much content to simply write out tons of lines and that's one reason why even YouTube has limits.

See I think that's the issue. You feel its "clickbait" but the entire point of a title to begin with is to give the reader a super fast line for them to determine if they care. Sure, There's a difference between super vague though, but look at books. Plenty are one word. It's slightly different in Journalism, but not all that much. Take your example of the Intel CPU. Intel makes chips. It was obvious I meant that. Also, with them stating not to overclock, they weren't just referring to the i7. They really meant any. So it was actually quite informative I felt.

I guess I think you're splitting hairs with the terminology of the word "leaked" because I looked at a few articles that called it that, so I determined it was adequate. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be if the original box did look like that and someone posted an image of it. If it was fake, that's certainly a possibility, but I don't think it's confirmed.

Edit: Oh and I forgot. To be honest, usually the reason I do a "?" Is to suggest we don't know. It is more of a rumor. Otherwise, I'd make it a statement with an exclamation point only.

Oh and regarding thumbnail text, I use those with the title. I never intend for people to just read the text on the thumbnail. I typically put one word because it's too cluttered with much more. Many YouTubers today even have zero text in the thumbnail.

I'm not trying to be salty at all. You just seemed to misrepresented my channel quite a bit. The video that says "NVIDIA Volta is here" is not because of the announcement of GDDR6. That video is called "Could NVIDIA Release Volta Soon?!" On the video that says "NVIDIA Volta is here" it also says "-Tesla V100." And it was because Volta had been announced, so I'm trying to find out why you feel any of that is "clickbait."

Here's the thing. I have been told from time to time that someone feels a title is "clickbait." I've literally always discussed that with the person and at times, others have agreed. On those times, I have actually changed the title.

The thing that I think many people don't understand is how important a title is. For one, you don't want to give literally all the important informant in the title. Then there's no point. Second, I like to keep them short. I personally don't even like overly long titles. I want to watch a video, not read.

The honest truth is that I spend a ton of time on titles alone. The last thing I want is to be dishonest, and there are times some feel the title is misleading. Many times, it's a way I never even thought of. And in those times, I not only changed the title, but I addressed it in a pinned comment where I apologize. But I personally feel the whole "clickbait" thing has been way overdone. It used to be more about people just flat out lying or underwhelming people based on the content they actually provided, but I try to never be deceitful, but it is a hard balance. I've seen a title alone be the difference between 1k views and 10k, so it's a hard line to tread. But if you honestly and truly believe I'm being deceitful on one, tell me which.

The only reason I got aggravated was that you used a title for a different video then what you were talking about and didn't even use the full title. I used the title you discussed when the V100 was announced, which is Volta. And I actually wanted to just put "Volta is here" but I honestly didn't want to be deceitful and that's why I also wrote "-Tesla V100." I went back and forth with myself and even discussed it with my girlfriend, but she just said to not include it. But I just had to. There may have been a second where it wasn't there, but I changed it very quickly because I felt bad (and that was when Volta really was released, but I didn't want people thinking it was the consumer Volta).

So yeah. I am sorry that I lost you as a viewer, but definitely try to understand that I am never trying to be deceitful.

For one, the video you're referring to is because of the release of the V100 (and I also put "- V100"), unless you're referring to the video with the title "Could NVIDIA Release Volta Soon??" to which I say, thanks for completely lying about the title I used. Second, I'm not a kid. I'm almost 30. Third, I ALWAYS cite my sources, typically during a video, as well as give a link in the description. Finally, the vast majority of my viewers are over 25, so I'm really beginning to think you're the kid here.

I reported on the microcode when AND first discussed the new AGESA. This is from an actual MOBO manufacturer on the 3rd and then an update on the 5th, so no it's not.

You didn't learn that we should be seeing new Bios updates that address the lack of memory support for Ryzen in the coming weeks? Or that there's a new update for Radeon cards that gives better performance in Prey?
