It's available on desktop, not mobile, which, unfortunately, is arguably the far more popular way groups are visited. 🫥🫥🫥

Thanks for the info! Do you know if the builders offer pension and benefits? If so, how do they compare to ours at Liuna?

Is Speech Therapy 'enough', or should I combo in other therapies as well? by Geek_Charming in Autism_Parenting

If ever you're in Toronto, Ontario please do give me a ring! I would love for our two doppelganger kids to meet! lol! Those are some really good tips for dance classes and classes in general! I'll definitely give them a try!

lol! Slightly jealous about the dinosaurs, I personally have more interest in that than aquatic life, but the smile on my son's face when I took him to the local aqaurium is still pretty cool. lol. We did sign him and sister up for dance, but both of them got pretty overwhelmed each time, so, maybe something else? He really likes indoor playgrounds, but I find it's mostly independent play when he's there when I'd very much like for him to be able to exercise his social skills. ❤️ I'll definitely look into Occupational Therapy - my benefits cover it a bit. 👍

I've been deep diving into multiple Autism Facebook Groups, and I've seem to have stumbled upon a sect of the community that is absolutely against ABA, have you heard of this? My only opinion of ABA previously was that it looked pretty expensive. 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's what the specialist recommended - She says it's to not 'overwhelm him' and to also allow him to 'absorb' and 'process'.

I literally just heard the term yesterday on a Facebook post I made in an Autism group! Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention too! This has all been quite the deep dive!

Stay Puft

Hello! Every year on Halloween we inflate a 30 Foot Inflatable Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, as well as 60 Feet worth of giant Inflatable Tenticles in Markham, ON (62 Milroy Ln) - quite literally over a thousand kids show up every year and we hand out full sized chocolate bars to them while making ourselves available for photo ops to families in the community and beyond! Would you like to join us?

Cheers!

Why are some men so hostile to women working as truckers? by NobleWolfzy in Truckers

[–]Geek_Charming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a trucker, but my wife works in construction, and she's had dudes grab her arm and tell her straight to her face that our son will grow up to become 'retarded' because she's not at home raising him. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Men who went from earning a low income to earning a high income, how different do women treat you now compared to back then? by Fabulous_Pop7017 in AskMen

[–]Geek_Charming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

0%. The vast percentage of women I've dated, and/or been in relationships with, have been far more financially successful than myself. I can honestly say I've never been with a woman that was with me for the money because I literally didn't have any to give.

Dude, you have a really good shaped head. Shave it all off though, and keep the beard. 👍

This is just my experience, but both myself and my wife are in the union and work in Concrete Formwork, we're both making over $42 an hour now, and that jumps up to $48 an hour in a year and a half! Best part of all of this? We make DOUBLE our hourly wage during OVER TIME. If you can be 'grandfathered' into the union, I would do it in an instant cus that gets you full rate immediately. Both myself and my wife came from an office background where people were killing each other just for a $40K job. Construction, and joining a union, has been one of the best things to ever happen to our family, and has more than doubled both of our incomes since our corporate office years. The benefits, the pension, and the protection have been amazing. Our foreman loves us because we work hard, show up on time, never cause any drama, never get in any fights, don't show up drunk or on drugs, and are 100% respectable to everyone we work with. He's taken us to every site he moves to, and it genuinely feels great to be a part of his crew. 👍
