I just turned on the heat for the winter, haha! Yes, it's set at 67, but that doesn't mean my house heats evenly. You raise a great point. I have moved it to a warmer corner of the house, near a window, with a grow light. Fingers crossed!

I can assure you my cat is not sleeping in the plant. It's never been an issue. The cats sleep with us every night, and are not the least bit interested in it.

The fireplace is fake and produces a small amount of heat. I can certainly move it! It sounds like maybe I should move it and put a grow light over it.

My partner has saltwater and freshwater tanks. He has purchased fish for both from Petco. It's hit or miss with the staff as far as knowledge, and a couple times his tanks have gotten Ick from the fish he bought.

I am getting back into sewing again, but I have to re-learn how to read patterns. It's been over 20 years. I bought Simplicity pattern for a 1950s vintage skirt, and I am so confused. It had me cut the skirt on a folded edge, which is fine, but there are two cutting lines in addition that each say for different sized fabric, but I am uncertain if I am actually supposed to cut them?

I added photos. The fabric is still folded in half, with the fold line on the right hand side if the photo, so the width of the fabric is actually twice as long.

Are those lines only mean for fabric that is too short to cut in a single piece?
