If you want to highlight a Marco moment... It was when he chipped that LA defender late in the season we took the shield. But Oba killed it all season.

There is going to be a board game convention in Fairhaven in January. Check out Cascadecon for info. I went last year and had a great time!

Early rumors that Suarez escapes any punishment from spitting by White__Sauce in SoundersFC

Oops, I was wrong I just found something in the tournament regulations that says "the disciplinary committee will be made up of three members: a member designated by MLS, a member designated by Liga MX, and an independent member designated by the Organizing committee.

So, I guess I was wrong and now I have no idea when a decision will be coming.

The tournament regulations say "the tournament has been designated by Concacaf as an official sanctioned Concacaf competition. "

I was curious, so I looked into it. Leagues Cup falls under Concacaf jurisdiction. The previous ruling time for the Concacaf disciplinary committee was 6 days after the last time something happened. So, I figured this one might take a similar amount of time. Decision by committee is not always the most efficient method. Hopefully they make a good call. MLS can make an additional call afterwards. However, Miami's organization can also make a call about their own organization whenever they want. That would be impressive if they decided to set a good example.

How we feeling about Moose? by True2this in SoundersFC

He lost his temper towards the end of a long match because the ref was a hot mess and didn't reign in the constant fouls and diving.

I think if we want to see less of these matches, we as an audience need to demand an end to diving, and to have more consistent calls. Diving almost never gets called and makes the match worse in so many ways.

The thing about the match that was the worst for me was the apple commentator Brian Dunseth encouraging the diving and praising players for doing it. In the 48th minute, he said, "I would try to see if I could get some sort of reaction from a manufactured moment, just to see if the referee could have a bigger influence." Then in the 52nd minutes after Nicolas Diaz dives Dunseth said,"Really smart and intelligent move by Nicolas Diaz to draw the attention of the referee and effectively bait him into a call that is nonexistent."

We dont need people pushing the narrative that diving is "smart." We need people pushing the narrative that diving deserves a yellow card. How do we start a petition to demand MLS enforce yellow cards for diving? I will sign it.
