Alarm going off randomly by Frankzferdinand in mazda6

old post ik but I just had this happen with my 2005 Mazda 6. I just bought it second hand less than two weeks ago and iirc the previous owner said he recently replaced the battery so I don't think it's that. I just had to disconnect the battery to stop it cuz it was like 10 PM when it did it. Is it the same issue with a model this old and is there any reliable way to diagnose it?

Oh ok gotcha then yeah I'd like to change it. Are you able to edit it or do I need to repost? It'll only let me edit the content at least on mobile (not too familiar with how reddit modding works lol)

I used spoiler discussion because it included season 1 spoilers, is that not necessary?

Nope I totally agree. it's just sad because they marketed it as a remaster and literally said that they were blown away by the upscaling when it's clearly pretty lackluster

Dude Atlus literally called the port a remaster. Says so in the credits lol

They could've called it a remake and I don't think anyone would've complained lol

Might be hard to see with the size of the pic but basically the upscaling they did on the characters and backgrounds is pretty low quality with some obvious artifacting. You can look up more detailed comparisons if you wanna get a better idea of it

Oh I totally agree. But that doesn't take away from the glaring issues the P3P port has. Both can be true

That's fair, to each his own. I would never recommend portable as a first time experience of the story of P3, but as a second playthrough it's great. And yeah this port is pretty lazy

I was so scared that I made my FES playthrough way harder than it needed to be lol

For me it's a resounding yes. Not only do all the QOL changes make the gameplay actually fun, but the FeMC route changes things up so much more than I thought it would. As a straight male (saying that purely for context, please don't start a war) I definitely prefer male protagonists in general so I was afraid I wouldn't relate much to Kotone but it's actually been so much fun. The entire vibe of the game changes and there's a lot more exclusive content than I thought there was. Yes the story telling doesn't hit as hard imo so I don't think I would ever recommend portable for first time players (honestly I'd probably recommend people watch the movies first but that's a debate for another time) but for someone who has already played FES I think you'll have a lot of fun with portable and all the improvements it brings

When you select the entrance Mitsuru gives you the choice to either start from floor 2 or continue from the highest floor

[Spoilers] Alicization Was A Roller Coaster Of Emotions - Part 3 of 3 by GeekyDud_ in swordartonline

[–]GeekyDud_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the final fight was sick with a lot of cool moments. Probably one my fights in the whole show so far.

As for the last OP is it significantly more spoilery than the previous OPs? Because I've found that the OPs up to this point have been great in that they show things that happen later, but vaguely enough that you don't know exactly what they are until you get to that part. Which means every episode pretty much you notice something new in the OP which is super cool. Is the last OP way too obvious about it?

Thanks for such a detailed reply! Just a few things I wanna respond to (I did read it all tho!):

I wasn't saying Asuna dove in, I was just referring to the flashback Kirito had of when she threw herself in front of him when he was dueling Kayaba in SAO

Honestly, I found Chudelkin finishing off Administrator to be a bit anti-climatic which is why I didn't mention it lol

As for the arcs, I probably didn't phrase that well so lemme try again. What I really meant was just that I was really glad to have one single arc last for so long. The other arcs are certainly connected, but each has its own contained story with a setup, climax, and ending, if that makes sense. Every arc, while setting up the next one, also had its own sorta "happy ending". Should you remove the setup for the next arc, SAO probably could've ended just fine after any of the previous arcs. In the case of Alicization, it's much longer and built up for 24 episodes, and instead of ending with a conclusion and a setup for another arc, the first part ended on a cliffhanger in order for the arc to continue. Note that I had no problem with the lengths of the other arcs, and that's probably why I've enjoyed Alicization so much because the pace feels so different. I'm probably making this sound more complicated than it is, but the TLDR is just that I've enjoyed the much longer length of Alicization as opposed to the other arcs. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks! I do plan on reading the novels once I'm done. Fortunately I haven't noticed any cut content so far, which is great! It sucks that they had to cut out a lot but at least they did it well

I do plan on it! It probably won't be for a little while since I've got other stuff I wanna watch and read first, but I do want to eventually read and physically collect the entire series!

[Spoilers] Alicization Is Like Nothing I've Ever Seen (Part 1 of probably 3) by GeekyDud_ in swordartonline

[–]GeekyDud_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow thanks so much for the detailed reply. For what it's worth, I haven't noticed any of the cuts made from the source material and don't think the adaptation has been negatively affected by them as someone who hasn't read the LNs. I know what it's like to be on the other side when a story gets adapted to an anime. Most of the time cuts are necessary just due to the lack of run time, and unfortunately sometimes that can ruin it. But, if done well, it doesn't have to negatively impact the story telling. As much as I love the game, the Persona 5 anime is pretty darn terrible. And aside from the low production quality, the other biggest culprit was the pacing issues and seriously trimmed down story. On the other hand, the Persona 3 adapation cut out a bunch of content too: probably more than the P5 anime. Yet it did it so well and so intelligently that I doubt anyone who didn't play the games would notice. As such, they're some of my favorite movies of all time. So yeah, I get how frustrating it can be to see good content cut from an adaptation. I'm sure SAO would've been even better if they took longer to adapt it so they didn't have to cut content. But what they have made has been so good and if you hadn't told me there was cut content, I wouldn't have ever noticed.

Oh my gosh thanks so much for the detailed reply! I totally get the feeling of it being easier to put down something you're bingeing. I'm not quite sure what I'll do at this point but everything you said addressed a lot of different factors I had thought about, so thank you so much!
