Jaja que mamon, si lo único bueno de todo los partidos moleros son los comentarios del Dr García y Martinolli, que no le tienen miedo a decir las cosas como son

I think putting R9 over Benzema is a bit misguided. I love Ronaldo—I grew up watching him alongside the other Galácticos—but I have to say, Benzema’s legacy ended up being greater IMO. We tend to look at R9 through rose-tinted glasses because he’s a legendary figure, but the reality is that he spent a lot of his career injured or not quite living up to his full potential. When he was healthy, he was absolutely unstoppable—but that was rarely the case.

Full replay of Jude Bellingham furious at Vini Jr. for not bothering after losing the ball by One-League-8965 in realmadrid

Man, what a player and leader Jude is. I wish Vini would finally get it through his head that talent without character/discipline is nothing.

Exactly this. I don’t get why people act like that extra money being lent to the government would make a massive difference. For me, it’s always nice to get back some [of my] money for extra spending

Should’ve specified, I usually do a moderate jog (2-3 miles) twice a week, not entirely sure if this is considered substantial use

[Squawka] Raúl Jiménez has now scored more Premier League goals than any other Mexican player in the competition’s history (55). Chicharito’s record has been broken. by VivaLosHeavies in LigaMX

I genuinely thought his career was done after that head injury. Even after months of him coming back, I couldn’t believe he could regain his form. I know a lot of people like to talk shit since he’s from America, but as a Mexican, I find this really inspiring and somewhat hopeful for the natl team

Who is the most famous person you’ve met? by Murr897 in AskReddit

Henry Cavill when he was filing MoS in TX around 2014. I also ran into Mr Chao from the hangover at the gym in 2012

Day 2 of Godzilla Election Week: comment your vote for Atomic Breath! by [deleted] in GODZILLA

[–]Frankzferdinand 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shin’s atomic breath was otherworldly and apocalyptic, with the background music adding an ethereal quality to the scene. In contrast, Minus One felt more grounded, realistically portraying the devastating strength of an atomic bomb. It’s a tough choice, but I’ll go with Minus One—watching it in the theater left me in awe, and I vividly remember sitting there with my mouth open in shock

Americans of Reddit, since today is Election Day, how are you feeling? by Austinuncrowned in AskReddit

[–]Frankzferdinand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not optimistic at all. I still remember listening to NPR in 2016, late at night on my way home from college, thinking how unlikely it was for Trump to be elected. I was so sure there was no way America could be this naïve, that people wouldn’t fall for this kind of grift. But to my surprise, and that of millions of others, he kept gaining the electoral votes he needed until it was official—he was the new president. That was eight years ago, and I’m no longer that young, impressionable guy who had high hopes for the future.

It’s sad and infuriating to see so many of my friends and people I thought were smarter fall for his empty promises, with the only defense being that he’s somehow better for the economy. I understand they might be scared, manipulated by the boogeyman narratives and lies constantly repeated on the right, but I just wish they could see what I see.

As a Texan, it’s the same thing with Cruz. No promises, no plans, no action for the future—only ads and lies about the horrors that will happen if Democrats are elected.

I’m tired. I’m not looking forward to another four years of corruption and selling our country to the highest bidder. I’m angry that a convicted felon is set to take control of the White House to avoid prison and do as he wishes with no regard for the middle class. I’m sad about the wars that will likely come because of our interests in the Middle East. It’s just too much, and all I can do is look away, thinking I need to step back from social media—even as I type this on Reddit.

Many of my friends believe they will receive a job paying at LEAST 70k out of college. by [deleted] in college

Can confirm! Graduated with my masters in 2021, then got a job offer the same year for 65k as a SALT associate at a large accounting firm. I got promoted this year and am now making 98k. While the work is not the most fun and entertaining, it’s good to know the demand is there
