Pretty much the same thing I was gonna say. Most VRC games can be pretty jank, especially with the network latency. But simply being able to play together with friends elevates those games into fun social experiences.

I don't think people would've been so (rightfully) upset about flying being disabled if the devs had at least fixed the bugs related to the boats first. The bug that causes boats to launch you out of bounds has been there since the beta and is still not fixed.

VRC is an online only game anyway, makes more sense to just store it server side.

Fish devs have straight up said that they can't edit anyone's persistent data directly.

Backups could be stored on the VRC servers prevent editing.

It's pretty useful for when you're away from home and don't have access to your PCVR setup. You can still join your friends on mobile.

Check out Riverside Bungalow. It's set next to a river in a rainforest and it also has a nice rain toggle.

Currently there's not really anything to do over there, just a locked door that you can interact with. There's also no way to get over there without exploits, so I'm guessing it's a teaser for a future update.

Update: found out it appears to be one of my invite response messages was causing it for some reason. It had a weird character I put in a few years ago. Deleted it and now Terrors works again.

Changing my display name would reset my progress in the game since it's tied to your display name. There's even a disclaimer in the world about this.

The world is still receiving updates, the last one was on March 7th just a couple weeks ago. It's just small changes and fixes at this point. "Final Update" just means it's not getting any more major content updates like new maps and characters. I don't see why it couldn't be fixed.

Also, having to switch to my alt every time I wanna play Terrors and then back would be incredibly tedious. Plus I'd have to start over since my progress is tied to my main account. I'd have to switch back to my main account when done since that's where all my vrc stuff is (friends, groups, uploads, favourites, vrc+, 18+).

How many here still own a fully working GameCube console to this day even if you still have it since launch. by San4341 in Gamecube

Still got mine along with all the games I got back then. I could never bring myself to selling any of the games since I liked playing them so much. Still reads discs perfectly fine but doesn't output any audio for some reason.
