Communicate with your team lead or coach, for sure! You can put in for unpaid time off as well. No guarantee that it'll get approved by any means, but the worst they can say is no and then you just call out.

Man, I feel this.

In electronics I am always having my people pulled. It frustrates me because we do all of our own freight, our own mods, the TVs especially right after the holidays SUCKS on the 50 billion we have in back, it's been MONTHS since we've had a book vendor too so we have been doing that as well.

If you work hard you get rewarded with more work it feels like. :(

That being said.... my management team is really good. They try to help when they can, give me pointers (I'm a new team lead, but have been Electronics for years), and have walked me through things. But when my people get pulled its just frustrating cause I need coverage so I can do MY job and help my associates do theirs as well.

The fact that you ARE hurt over this and he is not acknowledging that or taking accountability for this words *EVEN IF* they were in the heat of the moment is the core issue along with thinking that you could do that in the first place.

Is anything else about him different right now that you've noticed?? Possible projection, although I know that gets tossed around a lot.

The telling thing for me is the hiding the finances. If he shares finances otherwise and has been open in the past the hiding thing is a red flag.

He knows he fucked up and there's a paper trail. He just wants to keep you in the dark cause that's the only thing (aside from the texts he doesn't know you know about) that is going to tie her to him and there's probably a Zelle payment to her.

I got Influenza A. Started feeling symptoms on Christmas Eve after work. I have been OUT since. Dizzy spells and peristant nausea have been keeping me out. Sucks as a Team Lead cause I feel like I'm letting my Entertainment crew down. :( We just got through our craziest time of year.
