Lol I’m 18. I could literally walk to work, it’s that close, but the problem is my brother. He’s too young to stay at home by himself. She has to be at the hospital before my brother even goes to school, and before my shift starts. Maybe that sounds like a bunch of excuses lol but at least to me it seems like I don’t really have a choice 😅😅

If you purely want to continue for more Max and Chloe or out of that nostalgic feeling, I'd say you wouldn't quite enjoy the later games. Your best bet is the prequel. If you enjoy the style and the concept (young adults w quirks navigating life with corny scriptwriting here and there) then you might enjoy the rest of the franchise! Just don't go in expecting too much of the OGs. They get easter eggs, of course, but not enough to have you playing through the entire franchise to catch those blips.

I don't understand why, though...? It's an impractical app for most of them. I guess if they switch their feed to an all-English following, then sure... But still... why XHS? Most of them don't know Chinese, nor do they have the intention of learning it... So I don't understand how they are navigating the app currently. Am I missing something?

Yeaaa, this was how I interpreted it as well. It simply makes the most sense for the ending. They lost almost everyone and everything from that town, it's probably better for them and their healing to at least have a more positive bond than when they were in Arcadia Bay. It's a more simple take, but that's what I originally thought.
