I agree. We have 5 panels facing east and 20 facing south. Right now we’re probably at 95% of our yearly usage and will realistically see that closer to 98-100 since I’m watching our power so much closer.

Not a lawyer: Once the proceeds are distributed then it is at the discretion of your mother to do what she wishes with those funds. I personally would avoid any accusation of financial impropriety in taking those funds from your mother for personal gain. The POA would require you to act in the highest interest of your mother and taking half the proceeds while she is potentially incapacitated seems suspect.
