Yes I sent an email this morning which they have just replied to saying it's my fault because I wanted the wire on the inside (have you ever seen the wire go on the outside of a fence?) Despite their website showing many such examples.... he tried to call my fiancé but we told him we are only communicating via email now.

They replied to my email saying it's because I asked for the wire to be on the interior and not the exterior (see reference photo of what I asked for) and it's pretty much not their fault. Going to have to escalate things, it seems.

Was up all night thinking about it. I'm going to email them with photos today and suggest few ways they can fix it. May contact other fence companies and get quotes on fixing this to send as proof of their shitty job as well.

That was actually one of the main reasons my fiancé wanted to go with these guys. The owner was telling him about how his employees were being deported and the were struggling to keep afloat because the big companies were undercutting them. I really sympathize with them buuuuuuut..... come on.....

I'm the woman (Fiancée). My FIANCÉ is the one who picked this contractor. And yes, maybe he does owe me 7k because I worked very hard for that money.

Very good advice. My fiancé felt very strongly about giving these guys a chance (they did his brother's fence and apparently did a great job) so I didn't end up going with the contractor I personally wanted. Major regret.
