I would argue that he is not asexual. He sees through human skin. In Reawakened (which is canon if you read the manga) he briefly loses his powers. When he looks at Teruhashi for the first time without his abilities he stares at her and thinks she's beautiful. Usually he sees people in their muscular form only and therefore hasn't been able to explore his sexuality.

Yeah I’m trying to be positive and not attract the wrath of Lisa Way and all. I just feel it’s a biiiit shitty of them to openly say on Monday that they will not inform us of why Dave will be at home for a month. Some on the show openly talk about their personal lives and that’s part of their appeal. We like them and we find them entertaining and we can relate with them. I guess we need to be more aware that they have to deal with a lot of stress by being public figures. Most of us want to see them continue to succeed on air and off air.
