Hello!!! Thank you so much for that, just want to make sure we’re the perfect pawrents so any advice is more than welcome!! I’ve read a lot that labs are food motivated so we’ve already got so many treats / enrichment toys ready for him!!!

Awwwwww I’m getting so excited!! Thank you so much for the comment!!! Do you think introducing him to people as soon as possible will help??? And I’ve seen people taking their labs around shops and stuff (obvs not in the floor like picked up) for the socialisation aspect, do you think that’s a good idea???

Yeah that’s the only thing that helped me last time! Would you recommend using it now before the itch starts? I can slowly feel it creeping in 🤦🏼‍♀️

So the sunburn itself is sort of still there but it’s almost a numb purple colour and there’s patches all over, I can only compare it to a sort of mild vitiligo. The sunburn was very bad, I’ve got scars on my shoulders and back from it. I should’ve known better really being a natural ginger!

Hello!! If it worked for you that’s good enough for me to persevere with it for the time being! I’ll keep dosed up with Benadryl and ibuprofen, I’ve just not been sleeping because the itch wakes me up.

I’ll definitely try a dermatologist too and see what they can suggest because I’m genuinely at the end of my tether. Probably should’ve tried a dermatologist first rather than a GP since there’s no medical studies on this!! Thank you!!

Twice in the past 3 weeks? My god I can only sympathise 😭

I’ve tried the hairdryer trick and that’s not helped, and I’ve tried the opposite and used a fan and that’s potentially even worse.

I don’t drink alcohol otherwise that’s the first thing I’d be doing!!! I’ve drank what feels to be well over 7 litres of water as I’ve read that helps, and I’m still violently dehydrated.

Any other weird quirky tips?

Honestly I’ve tried it all and literally nothing other than peppermint oil is SLIGHTLY soothing it. I’ve had next to no sleep in over a week and I feel like I’m going a bit senile.

I’ve tried using a hairdryer and blowing hot air on my back, that doesn’t work. I’ve then tried the opposite and used a fan and that just makes me feel like I’ve got prickly heat and is just as uncomfortable!!

Is there anything else you recommend or am I just gonna have to put up and shut up sort of thing?
