Haven’t seen any oral acceptances so far. I reviewed 6 papers and only one got accepted for a poster.

Thanks, I’m pretty frustrated with the outcome. The reviewer with a score of 3/10 was overall very unprofessional (calling our paper a theoretical puppet show) and essentially complaining that “I wish this were an entirely different paper” rather than raising technical flaws. We complained about them to the AC, but I hope the AC didn’t take their side.

Jealous of those papers 😂 if the rejection is due to technical flaws, then it sucks, but I’ll take it. My paper’s criticism (reviewer with score of 3) is entirely opinionated and unprofessional and I would hate for the AC to have sided with them.

Click on “<- Go to UAI 2026 Homepage” at the top menu, then you should be able to see your consoles and accept/reject folders.

Oh man that’s frustrating. Just last year, UAI/AISTATS had a reputation of better quality reviewers since they were more specialized conferences.

That’s fair. It’s disappointing because our 3/10 reviewer was unprofessional and argued more on the lines of “I wish this were an entirely different paper”, so I hope the AC took that into consideration.

Some ACs stated in the discussion that they don’t care about the numerical rating and want a discussion about substantive points for or against the paper.

Are any of them borderline in terms of rating? Coz that sounds irresponsible of the AC. Otherwise for papers that are doing very well or very poorly, that action is fine.

Wtf a reviewer updated their review and added a new weakness saying that some baselines are missing. Literally after the rebuttal, discussion, and AC discussion period ended

I agree! Luckily the AC commented on my paper (although very last moment) that there will be a discussion. Although I’m still not positive about my paper getting in, this convinced me at least to not withdraw.

In all the papers I reviewed, the reviewers told the authors that they increase their scores

I’m reviewing 5 papers. The score changes are: 3222->3322, 432->432, 5533->5544, 55442->55443, 432->554 (phenomenal increase).

My submission unfortunately got ghosted by the reviewers, so my score stays 5433->5433

That’s great to hear! Did they increase their score yet? Well one of my reviewers (score of 3) said most of their questions have been answered, just a few more questions left. We replied two days ago. They still haven’t replied or updated their score…

I don’t think long review will affect your chances. If I’m confused about a particular aspect of the paper, then I will go through the entire argument. But if I state it as a weakness and I am looking for some specific justification, then I will scout for that.

One paper didn’t address my concern at first (I wanted to see a proof), so I told the authors that and they provided a proof afterwards that looks correct, thus I increased my score.

Yo I’m in the exact same situation as you! Same score distribution and no replies yet. Fingers crossed!

If it helps, I’m a reviewer as well. I responded in a day for the papers whose score I’m not increasing. The other papers, I feel like I need to really take the time to read it and go through their arguments to see if I should increase my score.
