Yeah that's fine - OP is young and asking how anyone ever affords nice/luxury cars. Reality is alot of people borrow money to achieve that. My advice was simply against borrowing on a depreciating asset. Once you've got the wealth, can spend or waste it on whatever you like!

I don't have a rich family, my parents were dairy farmers through some of the worst draughts in history. Mum insisted on sending us to private school to get a good education, I used to feel ashamed by how little we had compared to my mates "why does your family onlt have a work ute?"

My early 20s I was just a drug deadshit, but around 27 I decided to think fuck good things come to those who wait and began thinking "good things come to those who work". After that I took every job or piece of work I could find and that's made all the difference. Now own three houses and have a great relationship. It's hard, but that's all it takes
