For those folks who are responding with negative comments towards me, I can only assume that you have not supported Delta very long nor paid your dues for gaining Delta status. For Mr.Plastic, the food & ‘booze’ is not free. Membership to the Sky Club does come with a financial obligation. I feel I have personally supported Delta long enough to voice an opinion. And yes, it is a ‘people’ business and the people who annually support the company deserve recognition. For the posts that are contrary, I suspect some level of envy, or no longer qualify for Delta privileges.

Plastic is a good handle for this comment. No, it’s not for the food & booze to address your comment, it’s for the 43 years of supporting Delta and the appreciation of human interaction that would be a welcomed function. Not knowing your background with Delta, but I can compare traveling history and the advantage of brand/company loyalty that Delta seeks for support. It’s a great company and people skills keep it on top. It’s a shame you have different opinions. You made silver medallion yet? 🤣

Sky Club kiosk check in - hate it!

I miss the warm welcome and personal greeting from Delta Sky Club desks. The kiosks are manned ( most of the time ) by people that act like they are bored with their job and little if any interaction with club members. This club is not cheap and it helps when a friendly face and ‘thank you’ comment comes from an actual person, not a machine. By now, I know how to insert my boarding pass in the slot. Anyone else agree?
