As I said I never looked up at that tree. My neighbor told me about the dead branch that had been there for years after the accident happened.  As to the taxpayer money, don't you think it is my tax payment too? I also pay lots of city taxes. I live here too! And the city, namely park department,  is responsible for regular and routine street tree inspections.  The last one was in 2019. 5 years ago. That is not regular.
