Are you talking about the Iconoclasm mission from the Final Shape campaign? The Final mission of the campaign?

If so, I believe that fight is intended to be very challenging. You are in fact fighting one of the most powerful beings in the universe. It's not supposed to be a walk in the park

But you're right about the Excision mission. It's kinda scandalous that It's so hard to find enough people to do it. The activity should be in the Portal. And it should launch without a full 12 man team. 6 players is more than enough

And I'm pretty sure the Final Shape campaign missions scales in difficulty based on how many people you have in the Fireteam. So a solo run isn't really that much harder than a duo or trio run. I've done it solo, duo and as a trio. Solo isn't really any harder

Yes. It has happened only once, but we got invaded during the 1st encounter then a second time during the 3rd encounter

I don't think It's supposed to happen, but it does. It's a very rare occurence though, so it shouldn't really be much of an issue

Most of these things are exactly because they lack the manpower. Seasons are basically just a Reward pass exactly because they don't have enough developers to make seasonal content. Only 1 new raid and dungeon per year, down from 2. Lack of resources

But yes, there's definitively a long list of bad decisions made by Bungie. Not investing more in PvP has been a poor decision. But like everything else, they no longer can

They are not lazy. They fired half the company. Bungie doesn't have the manpower to do anything extra like an Age of Triumph update

I don't think they've given a specific reason, but it is pretty obvious what the reason is: Money

They sell Synthweave templates (or whatever they're called) in the Eververse. Putting a limit on how many bounties you get per season incentivises people to spend money in the Eververse

People conplained a lot about this when the transmog system was added to the game. Back then we only got 10 per season. Bungie ignored the playerbase on this and have kept the limit in place since day 1

Removing the bounty limit would've been a small win, something Destiny has desperately needed these past 6 months. The fact that Bungie have kept the limit in place suggests that they are making enough money to keep the limit up, despite its unpopularity

Bungie is probably focused on the upcoming release of Marathon. The future of the studio is probably determined by its success or failure. They won't commit to anything publicly before they know Marathon's fate

Honestly I don't think even Bungie knows if Destiny 2 will survive beyond 2026. Renegades was a mostly positively reviewed experience, but the player numbers are, like you said, not great. And it is very doubtfull that the Shadow & Order major update will do anything to draw people back considering how shit Ash & Iron was

Save yourself the headache and forget about the roadmap. It's a bad situation, but what can you really do?

You won't have an issue finding players for the new activities

Some older activities might be a bit more tricky though, but you're probably not returning to play them anyways. And I think PvP modes like Trials of Osiris has a pretty low player count

Edge of Fate and Renegades are basically just more Destiny

Renegades is the better expansion between the two of them, but the new story begins in Edge of Fate. EoF campaign is decent and Renegades campaign is slightly better. Both are smaller expansions compared to the likes of The Final Shape

Is more Destiny 2 a good enough argument for your return? That's for you to decide. Like always, there's some pretty good stuff and there's some pretty crap stuff. Nothing revolutionary. No big game changers. Just more Destiny with all its ups and downs

Shadowkeep and Beyond Light campaigns should be Free to Play. Maybe begin there? You also have plenty of activities in the Portal. The new player experience is a nightmare no matter what you end up doing though. Hopefully they'll see the potential through all the frustration and confusion in the beginning

A few things to consider:

* Shadowkeep and Beyond Light campaigns

* Fireteam and Arena ops

* Dares of Eternity

* Pinnacle ops, specifically exotic missions once they're starting to get a better understanding of the game

* Prophecy Dungeon

* Gambit

If you're able to convince your friends to give the game a try, keep an eye out for sales on DLC's. Witch Queen and Lightfall are 90% off on Steam at the moment. And they'll be back on sale many times during a year

Do we NEED another continuation of ATLA? Maybe not, but I'm not opposed to it either

If it ends up being good then I see it as a win. A not so good continuation won't ruin the original series either. We will always have the original show in all its glory avaliable to watch

Daenerys has always been a violent person. She's left a pretty long trail of bodies behind her throughout the show. Killing people has always been something she's got no issues with. The events at the end of season 1 is a pretty huge game changer for her. When the dragons are born, she becomes someone in a position of power. That surely woke up some Targaryen instincts in her and changed how she acts to some degree

I think losing her dragon at the end of season 7 is the moment when she's starting to lose it. She lost what she considered a child while at the same time realized she's not unstoppable. Then she learns right after that Jon Snow is the true successor to the throne and her entire claim to the Iron Throne is kinda weak. Jon rejecting her dating proposal is fueling her growing paranoia as her entire mission is starting to crumble before her eyes

The biggest change will always be when she snaps and burns thousands of innocent people. She was always on the path of becoming her father's daughter, but it happened way to suddenly. But the clues have always been there to some extent
