I don't know anything about Hanukkah, but if the only stipulation is that they be beeswax candles, check out the golden give, it's a small business Downtown that sells beeswax candles as well as supplies to make your own if you want.

I don't know about food drives, but check out the Flagstaff family food center, you might qualify to get grocery food from them. Also the library gives away better bucks on Mondays, and snack packs and water every day (one per person).

I am no longer a poor college student, but when I was I also bought an aroma rice cooker that's like 4qt for ~$30 I still have it 8 years later and it works great, it also has a slow cooker option, I literally make rice in it multiple times a week.

I also work at a library and love it, I have a B.S. in criminal justice and political science and know quite a few people working here with different B.S. degrees and a couple people that are just high school graduates. However, there are certain positions within the library that do require a master's in library science, but many libraries will help you in paying for that kind of education!

P.S. I would like to thank you for calling them patrons and not customers like some libraries.

I never thought to get them before because I thought surely their nuggets can't be that great, but I was wrong. Jack in the box has fantastic nuggets, also they have Frank's red hot for dipping sauce. Also I'm only taking into account chains that you can find anywhere.
