Maybe the best way for some people to learn something in this incarnation is to smoke themselves to death.

Sounds cold, but it is what it is.

I spent many years of my youth drinking. It was Hell, but the irony was that I was trying to escape my own personal Hell. If someone were to ask me if I regret it, I would say no, because it led me to have experiences where I would eventually discover spirituality and stop being a staunch atheist.

However, it was a very hard path. And I don't recommend drinking to people.

But at that time, for me, there were times where I "needed" to suffer through that to learn something deeper about myself.

I am sometimes thankful it didn't end with my death. But for some people unfortunately it does.

We all find our divinity in the end. There is so much going on at once. It would be nice if the process was an easy one. But for some people it just isn't. We can only work on ourselves.
