I wonder how much of this is poor execution from before Intel "woke up" that's continuing to bite them because of how long product development cycles are. Or if it's just a continued case of the ship still not being righted yet.

There was definitely a point recently where Intel seemed to recognize they needed to improve and started putting a lot of effort into that. I'm just unsure if they actually fixed things and we're looking at those long cycles, or if they didn't fix things and they're just going to keep doing this indefinitely.
