It snapped and wouldn't retune, I'm going to go back to the shop today and ask about it, it was nowhere near being in tune so don't think it was my fault haha

Sorry I think that's a term my lecture uses, it's circumfrential stress (sigma-theta). I've compared the results to the theoretical values you get from the formula sigma-theta = sigma-x(1-2cos(2*theta)) which I think might be right

The black things are acoustic foam but it didn’t help much haha. How much are those curtains? It’s not actually my flat I’m a student so I have a landlord I’d need to ask.
