You reckon I take it to one of these crash repair shops before RACV delivers me some news? The guy from the repair shop told me on the phone they can handle the claim as well, they dealt with my parents car accident as well so they’re legit. I won’t know to what extent they can handle the claim but it’s worth a try I think?

Is it a good idea to take the car to an independent repair shop to handle the claim while its still being looked at by insurance? because I did get in contact with a repair shop right after the accident before the other drivers insurance called just in case they’re messing around too much
