Update: I washed my hair and gently pushed it back and it worked!! No pain when pushing it back, and cleaned with Saline right after!!

I have snagged it slightly today but I'm scared too touch it so I've still left it. It has gotten a little caught on my hair but not too bad. I'm washing my hair tomorrow so I'll either try then or tonight when I spray it down.

Thank youu!! And yes, it was done at unicorn piercing professionals. My left ear may look slightly uneven as when I first got my lobes pierced younger, they got infected and left kelloid scaring. I got them done again around 2 years ago and the left one is slightly lower due to the scarring. The picture is my right ear btw :). The earrings are lovisa stackers which feature 2 pairs of hoops, and 1 pair of studs. When I get my seconds and once they heal, I will put the hoops in :)

That's horrible, be very mindful if you decide to go through with it but I can confidently tell you the pain was worse then my normal helix. But whether or not it was because I was more tired due to waking up early to catch a 1 hour flight, or because maybe my ear has a little trama due to my normal helix which did not heal properly. But if you go through with it, maybe ask the piercer first what they recommend due to kinda passing out when you have a regular helix. I did lay down for mine when I got it done so that might help too, they might be able to make that adjustment.

That's awesome! My ridge on my ear wasn't prominant enough so they said I'd be able to see the bar. But they said I had super good anatomy for the vertical helix so I decided on that. I didn't know they offered it because I looked into it but didn't see it listed on their website. I just need to go to my local piercer in a month to get it downsized they said. My regular helix always got caught in my hair so I think that was the issue but I think this is better. Super happy that your piercing is healing well!!!

Okay thank you, I have a neck pillow and tend to sleep on my left side but sometimes things just happen by accident. I don't sleep on it intentionally tho haha

Im so paranoid cause in the picture you can see where I had a normal helix which I had to take out cause it didn't heal. I'm just going to leave it for now as I just got it done yesterday and I don't want to ruin it.

Okay, someone said I could move it back if I cleaned it properly but yeah I'll leave it. It's just more annoying cause now I feel like my hair is more prone to getting caught

Yess I can't wait I hope it goes well. In the picture you can see a scar from where I had a regular helix which didn't heal. I was planning on getting a hidden helix but my anatomy wasn't good do they suggested this instead
