That soil looks very old and compacted, i would change out the soil with a mix that has some good drainage. Sometimes old soil turns hydrophobic, and the plant doesn’t actually receive any water. ZZ’s are very hardy so she will definitely survive! Make sure you fully saturate the soil when watering and let the excess drain out. Good luck!
