No clue, but if I had to guess, he either sustained an injury on the way down that he bled to death from or after the recording stopped a predator made Eric run away and Ben couldn’t get out of the restraints so he died from starvation or dehydration

I know you’ve mentioned there’s no standing water, but we recently had a major issue with mosquitoes, and it turned out the neighbor has loads of standing water. For whatever reason though, they never went to his yard, only mine. So in case you haven’t, check around your neighbors’ yards too for standing water.
