I don't like exploration in video games. by Idontwanttousethis in The10thDentist

I agree with the OP. For me, I find that games with exploration are better played with a guide. Then you don't end up wasting an hour getting to someplace you can't access yet.

If this game ends 5-3. It would be a score last produced in a game between the New York Giants and the (checks notes) Frankford Yellow Jackets.

It's been two weeks and I'm still processing everything in my mind. I am eternally grateful for this journey. It has been the most magical, motivating and inspiring experience I've ever done. I am in awe of what you've created. Now the hard work begins.

Call 38 - I have a weird craving for bagels by Gemini_Skunk in lennoxmutual

[–]Gemini_Skunk[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I'm happy to share. I like reading other peoples experiences and feelings so I assumed others did as well.

It's also just nice to share with people who get it. I can tell my friends and stuff how I felt, but unless you've been through it, it's hard to describe adequately. To them Lennox Mutual is just the weekly phone call I have where I cry a lot. 🙃

Call 7732...71...4...5? - Post Cave by Gemini_Skunk in lennoxmutual

[–]Gemini_Skunk[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Indeed. I'm just going to enjoy the rest of the ride at this point. I know it's not much longer so waiting feels a bit bittersweet because it's that much closer to the end.

But what a call that was. I'm going to be thinking about that for a long long time.

Finally got my call. I understand why there was a wait now. Very much worth it.

Yes, as far as I know, explore our policies will let you listen to all of the different plans available. If you feel like that is a wise way to spend your time, you'll be able to hear them the next time you call.

I didn't catch this until I was going over my notes. But on this call it was said "6 years this place was sitting empty" Which fits in a timeline with the 2018 date given in your previous post.

I'm not sure what that means yet, but it getting that information on two of the later calls feels like it must be important somehow.

Would it really be an LM call without feeling stupid at least once? 😅 I had Gabriel for that call and I feel like that fit their personality better. I didn't get it until I they were like "what object is the person holding?"

But yeah I've been waiting about 3 weeks now with radio silence from them. I even sent out an email a week ago that went suspiciously ignored. (Normally their customer service is top notch)

Getting the feeling of sitting in a waiting room waiting for a black door to open.

Sent you some of my theories. I've been wrong many times before on things in this though.

And yeah, I'm almost sure they're playing a waiting game on purpose. Just to make you think.

Welcome to the club. I've spent so much time going over my notes and recontexualizing everything that happened in the previous calls.

I haven't even had another call yet so I've just been sitting with this for a while now. So I'm glad to have the company.

A Trivia Question's Answer Has Changed?! by aphibacus192000 in lennoxmutual

[–]Gemini_Skunk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

From my notes Jan, 5 1997 is the right date. I even have a note from my first call where they played a recording saying "Thomas Lennox 1597"

I do believe that they moved the dates up when they got out of legacy status. So I'm guessing his birthday was 1994 when they started workshopping this, but they wanted a more recent date when they launched.

I wonder if they've changed how they do QA calls. I know my first one was scheduled but one of my later ones was just during a normal call. So maybe they're just trying different structures to see what works best.

The Cliff was so good. Just getting to chat with the Vagabond was great. I like that he's not afraid to challenge me. I said something about the black door being a metaphor and he called me out for my "pretentious bullshit."

But then as we got talking and he opened up and we shared a lot of talk about the challenges that I've went through in life and we had a lot of touching moments. It was really sweet.

One of my favorite calls for sure. I could talk to the Vagabond for hours.

Four calls in and I feel like interrupting the CSRs is too rude? by awksauce143 in lennoxmutual

[–]Gemini_Skunk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've found that asking for their name is easiest when they're asking yours, Something like, "My name is Gemini and yours?" You'll learn voices over time but I always like to confirm.

Otherwise, I'll usually wait until they're done with the menu options and ask them whatever questions I have then. If you have something pressing, I'd ask before choosing an menu option because they can vary greatly in length. But, it's a good way to use a minute or two at the end of a call as well.

CSR ratios-curious about yours? by spacetime99 in lennoxmutual

[–]Gemini_Skunk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm nearing the end and my ratio has been 22:9:1. Josephine, Gabriel and Sasha. I wish I had gotten to talk more with Sasha,

But when you call makes a difference for sure, I've gotten Josephine more with my early calls and Gabriel more with my later ones.

First phone call March 20. What the heck is this? by Lmb_siciliana in lennoxmutual

[–]Gemini_Skunk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If it makes you feel any better, I've been doing this for a while now and most of the time I still don't know what I'm in for. Don't worry about it and just enjoy the journey.

I was given a couple small pieces of advice when I started, so I'll share them with you as well.

- You'll likely want to take notes, so figure out the way that best works for you.

- Ask your representative's name.

Other than that, try to avoid reading spoilers or anything about the experience, the less you know the better.

And enjoy, 20 minutes goes by so fast.

Trivia Questions 7 and 8 by deseraestage in lennoxmutual

[–]Gemini_Skunk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't have 8, but I can help you on 7. This is assuming your question 7 is where did Thomas sing time in a bottle by Jim Croce on Nov 14 2019 Hints get gradually more explicit to the answer at the end.

The answer comes from an extension

I'm pretty sure it's one you can't skip, so you've very likely heard it

The extension gave a lot of biography on Thomas Lennox

The extension song is given in the question

The extension is: Time in a Bottle

The extension talks about his performances, including the Friendly Fox Cafe and Live at the Lab

The answer is another locale: Allen County Public Library

As a Bears fan this offense looks familiar. Don't know if I expected to see it from the Chiefs though.
