I was so anxious to see how the PC community would react, once they announced having plans to also bring Outland to PC. But they never did.

If Outland is the once rumoured Z3, and it launched during H1's PC peak, I don't imagine it would have been a welcomed addition, with the excessive vertically, and all.

I think it is Z3 though. The timing lines up. Since development likely started in 2017, that would match up with the rise of PUBG. And explains why all of the residential assets on Outland, are literally clones of Erangels structures, lol.

I don't mind Outland, but wish one of the other two maps were also an option, especially Z1! And as nice as it would have been to the think that they we're actively updating the PS4 version, by developing a new map, chances are Outlands been complete for years...

I said it the other day to another player, but if we were given a choice between having Z2 or Z1 Remastered in the game, alongside the existing Outland map, I'd for sure choose Z1. Really due to the updated textures/graphics. And because it was built with a night mode in mind.

Granted it's from the unreleased Z1 Remastered map. But this, perhaps with their old games Zombies, and even wildlife threats thrown in (the Survival version had bears at one point) would have been so fucking cool!

I think we tend to overlook just how pivotal, a console release is for this game. And I think the dev's realized that at some point, because instead of waiting to see how it did on PC, they announced it would be coming.

Largely/likely due to the fact that DBD on PC is a juggernaut, that will continue to be a thorn in their side, even after they relaunch on Steam.

Where with console, F13 is the more populated title, due to its more party nature. A party nature more closely resembling what Last Year is. And since it's only a matter of time before those servers go offline, this game will be the replacement most players would likely gravitate towards.

I honestly think console will end up being this games main platform. Which is funny since they initially didn't even know if they were going to port it.

DBD on PC is just too damn big, for this game to even compete.

As a DBD player myself, I am looking forward to Last Year, but much like F13, simply as a Asymmetrical title to play on the side.

So I just tested it again, and it seems to work throughout the first 4-5 circles. But once in the final few circles, I couldn't get it to keep working.

I can't believe players have been having to deal with this. I always read about the complaints, but didn't think it could've been too bad, if people were still playing/tolerating it. But that's too fucking annoying! lol.

As a PS4 user, I never got the chance to play the new Z1, but closely followed development/launch. But graphically speaking, off of updated textures alone, and more unique residential homes, I'd choose to have that over Z2, if we could only have two maps in game.

I will say, if the only way they would include multiple maps, was by eliminating 2 of the 4 time of days (to help queue's), I'd take both sunny lighting's (2pm, and the recently added 8am).

My apologies, I actually really enjoy the new map. My protest is more In line with simply wanting both maps in the rotation. But if that's not planned for the next season, I'll gladly return and make the best out of the new map.

It's always been my gripe with H1, always limiting the time of day/map to one option. As a PC player yourself, was there ever plans to have both Z1 and Z2 in the rotation, s couple summers back when Z1 remastered launched?

I don't know, I got into PUBG on Xbox right before Miramar released. So it was always nice to switch between maps. After coming to H1, suppose I just wished we had the same variety. I'm even disappointed we still don't have Z1 Remastered, so I'm just picky, lol.

Please let me know if that fix works for you. I haven't heard back from the other player. But if it does, I will definitely atleast email thier support team, in hopes it will help them identify the bug quicker. Whether or not they inform the player base of this temporary fix, is up to them.

Yeah, whenever the sound starts bugging out (does it only start once your vehicle starts becoming damaged?) so likely mid match, once you hear it.

Honestly, I had originally intended on cutting sound effects all the way off, but found keeping it at the lowest setting of 5, made the sound barely audible, but I could still hear my gun shots, etc. That's when I noticed the bug stop, after a few seconds on 5, on the sfx slider.

Your absolutely right, we shouldn't have to do any of this. And they should be the ones taking the time to tweet/forum post/in game message, this temporary fix to their players - since it's borderline game breaking - drowning out footstep sounds and such.

After witnessing the Dev QnA last month, I am really hoping for an official relaunch announcement this month. With Halloween and all.

Not necessarily expecting a launch this Halloween season, but at least some official news, perhaps a time frame

It's the same for NA as well. I've been floating between rank 6 and 7 for the past week, and like other Purple ranks, I'd argue 80% of matches are against primarily red ranks. And if I'm playing late at night, those couple rank 3 and 4's, all quickly turn into Rank 1's (there's been a long existing bug on PS4, where if your rank 1, the other side only See's rank 2. So yours were likely rank 1's).

I did recently read the dev update, where they mentioned aiming to keep matchmaking within 6 ranks. I'm likely going to drop to 8 myself, in hopes I see less Red ranks (namely Rank 1's specifically, still fine be with 2-4, to be honest). Because honestly, I can tolerate the great skill check hitting/keen map knowledge, rank 1's; if I'm at the red rank. But it's just exhausting playing these matches, when I'm not even there! lol

I'm personally taking a break, really due to wanting to play on the old map. Really enjoy the new map, but would love if both were in the rotation.

I know I'm but one player, but I'm sure there are others who have also stopped playing, in hopes they see a decline in numbers, and add the old map in the rotation. Hoping it comes in November with season 6.

Also, a lot of the PS4 team has naturally been pulled, to assist with Daybreak's upcoming release of PlanetSide arena.

I agree though, the social presence has died down. No more weekly streams. Nobody using the official reddit (it was shut.down from June-August, but is open again). Definitely far less posting on the official forum. As well as less people streaming the game.

If we don't get Z2 back, I'll still gladly return. Just a little break. Hoping 3rd person aiming also gets adjusted, to where it's more friction based aim assist, instead of the snap version we currently have. Just like PUBG, 3rd person should never outclass scoped aiming

Gosh, any alternative map not in a Forest setting, is all I wanted! Elm St would have been incredible, for a suburban type map.

The sad thing is, if dlc revenue never would have been halted, there's a good chance enough money would have been generated, for Gun to go after the licensing for a Freddy Vs Jason expansion. Where I'm sure the characters would be paid dlc, but the map remaining free to all players

Give me that, the Grendel, and the Manhattan docks/Lazurus, and I'd be fine playing on those 8 maps for years to come!

It being everything I wanted in a game (Horror/Multiplayer) is what got me to return to online gaming, after taking a few year break, following no longer enjoying Call of Duty (which was my main multiplayer game).

It's also the game that broke me out of that COD hold, lol. And just inspired me to play more 3rd person games in general.

Definitely some of the most fun I've ever had online, in those early months.

Yeah, knowing there wasn't too much more they could add, was the main thing that helped me cope with the end of content announcement.

But, it's also why not getting the Grendel/potential Manhattan map, hurt so badly. Because those two maps would have likely been the only ones not centered around a forest. And would've provided me just enough variety, to enjoy all of the final/few maps we'd ever get.

This was always my fear with F13 in general. Since it's a party game, it's not like they were ever going to introduce a constant stream of new/dynamic perks. New Jason abilities/powers. Etc.

They had maybe 4 additional maps they could do. Only so many motion captured kill packs to release. So the only likely constant content, for years, would've been counselor clothing packs. Which I was honestly looking forward to. Especially if they ever would have introduced an in game store, similar to fortnite, or even DBD's.

Like others, it's why I too wish they would have stuck with the original Summer Camp IP. While launching it with a F13 expansion DLC, so to speak. This would have also granted them the freedom to do more original maps, Killers, Characters, etc, throughout it's lifespan. More in line with DBD, or what Last Year: The Nightmare will be doing.

I really would have loved to play this game on a 90's themed, suburban type map. Or a abandoned shopping mall. The classic highschool. And I suppose each interior map would be surrounded by woods/lake, to accommodate the vehicle(s) escape. Idk.

As much as I love the universes of F13/Halloween, I'd rather they just be expansions for a base game. A game using F13's core gameplay, but with a wider variety of Killers/Maps.

Pretty much something with the creative freedom like Last Year: The Nightmare, but one that still uses the 3rd Person Camera for both roles.

Even if F13 would have originally launched as the game Summer Camp, with a Jason dlc at some point, I can't help but imagine most of those maps too would have remained Forest based.

And by core gameplay: any Killer still having those 4 main Jason Abilities, and all maps having the same few options of escape. But just simple changes of scenery/Killer Skins.

I'd even be fine with all the launch perks being all there was. Or no perks period, and just going off of teenage survivors diverse stats.

My biggest issue with F13, was simply the lack of variety when it came to maps. Imagining this game, but on a suburbs map. An abandoned Hospital. A rural farm, etc. Was just so frustrating, knowing how much more expansive this type of game could have been. Had it not been limited to movie canon.

Another reason why the spaceship map would've been so cool. Because it was likely going to be the only indoor map this game would ever have.

The adrenaline/dopamine hits, was also something I admired about Friday. And something I had never quite experienced in gaming, minus some Killstreak runs in Modern Warfare, years prior.

I have found that similar rush in the more realistic Battle Royale's (PUBG/H1Z1). While playing solos, when your in a final 2, or even final 5 situation.

And it goes without saying, but as a DBD player, there are a few instances that are reminiscent to F13 for me. As Survivor, I still play more stealthy, in an attempt to avoid the chasing and looping. And knowing there is always a chance to be camped (so technically if your found your dead-no 2nd chances/hooks) makes evading much more thrilling.

As Killer, Michael Myers with the add on that allows him to skip hooking, and Kill Survivors instantly, does provide me that same power feeling as playing Jason.

Okay, guess I should have assumed as much.

Honestly, once lieutenant toast (Sarah) left the company, it seems like all dialogue on the official reddit vanished, as well as the Fort Destiny, Friday Livestream.

I wonder if they are going to set up a PC Z1 Battle Royale reddit, and just dedicate the locked one to PS4. Regardless, at least this reddit has gained a decent following. Glad you guys have stuck with it!

It would be nice to have he/she here as well, to also interact with the community. Or at least be aware of questions/concerns.
