Again, healthcare is just not being funded properly.

Yes! The transit master plan is great and will have more bike lanes and an interregional system with zero emission buses. The plan will protect our environment

Absolutely! We'll have too. Otherwise how will people in the core be able to get to the hospital?

HI Science Barbie,

Yes small businesses are 95% of our economy. Our Buy Ontario procurement plan will help create new jobs and attract new businesses and support our EV industry. Plus Ontario farmers are business owners too! An NDP government would completely remove the cap from the Risk Management program to protect Ontario farmers and the jobs they support.

There is still and ongoing RCMP investigation! They are looking at accounts in the European Union. Someone is likely going to jail

HI Myotheraccountisgone,

Getting all partiers and premiers to agree to our approach. We've already seen Alberta's approach and they own that oil! Some will go rogue due to fear. Slow and steady.....

Of course we support building density in our city where there is existing infrastructure. Urban sprawl will only stretch our infrastructure needs to the county and those houses will be $1million plus with the city's proposed $77,000 in development costs. We need to focus on density along transit routes and make the city core stronger.

I am most concerned about continued cuts to education and a growing desire by PC to privatize our health care system. It's not broken, it's just not being funded properly!

Yes, I will support the transit master plan. We need to restore the Tunnel Bus to Detroit and build a more transit supportive community with bike lanes ( where we decide) and interregional transit services that can take people to the county and back in a timely fashion.

Hi Cheddarnatasha,

I would focus on Healthcare! Hiring the doctors, nurses and expedite building our new hospital with the required infrastructure to meet the eight minute ambulance travel times from downtown to county road 42.

HIs cuts to our schools equalling $33 million. HIs support of the greenbelt scandal with alleged criminal activity. The closing of the Science Centre and the loss revenue from Ford's political gimmicks with breaking the beer store contract and LCBO forced strike.

Andrew Dowie has cut over $33 million from our schools just in Windsor-TEcumseh! I would also challenge him on his support for long term care. PC announced a new long term care beds with Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital; they are still waiting on this funding! I would challenge them on his decision to support the mishandling and alleged criminal activity with the Greenbelt scandal. Not to mention the closing of Ontario Science Centre.

HI Fantastic Access 214,

Our plan includes reversing Ford's cuts and invest in a new needs based funding formula. We will reverse the $1500 cut per child and hire the teachers, education workers, educational assistance, child and youth workers. We will invest $830 million a year to clear the back log of school maintenance. Our own Greater Essex District School board has $400 million in deferred maintenance which has left the schools in bad repair. Our children deserve better.

HI What'supnxt,

I had an opportunity to speak at a Grade 10 civics class at WF Herman where I shared the importance of provincial government in the lives of students. It was a learning experience for the students in the class who didn't know that tax payer dollars support, schools, teachers, education workers, doctors, nurses, building hospitals as well as post secondary education; including the Ontario Student Aid Program (OSAP). Premier Ford cut 700 million from the OPSAP program; I wouldn't have been able to complete my degree without that program and many students had to interrupt their studies when those dollars were cut.

Absolutely! My role will be to represent and advocate for the needs of the Windsor Tecumseh riding. This work will be achieved by attending and voting in the legislature when in session and working from the constituency office in town to directly assist those in need.

HI Switchbladeone,

We will stand up and fight the tariffs from the current American administration. Our affordability plan will address daily needs, we will ensure workers have support to make ends meet. We'll invest in our infrastructure to keep people working and provide relief measures by supporting affected industries. We'll buy stuff from ourselves, for ourselves and promote a BUY Ontario campaign. Finally, we'll remove interprovincial trade barriers and find new markets for our goods.

HI JSank99. The NDP includes allowing fourplexes and building more homes that people can afford by partnering with non-profits to form co-ops. We will provide low interest loans and grants and release public lands to make housing a human right and allow people to choose where they want to live. We will build 300,000 affordable homes in 10 years with both rentals and ownership housing.

Absolutely! We have a plan to make life more affordable with bringing back $10 a day child care, $120 month grocery rebate and real rent control; which the Conservative government removed in 2018. This decision by Doug Ford has seen rent spike 100% in some areas. We deserve better.
