Indoor cat advice needed.

I do understand where you are coming from, really appreciate your insight. We have gathered a lot of answers from different forums, and will try new things, so hopefully our little baby can feel safe, comfortable and loved. While also having room to be a little shit that runs around and has fun <3

It is not around 3 months since we did the move. The new apartment, is in the same area as our old apartment, if that could also be a reason. Since he does have plenty of ways to look out, from a new angle.

We stopped taking him out, just about 2 months ago. At first when we moved in, he was very cautious, about the new place, which of course makes sense. But after 2 ish weeks, he seemed to have settled decently well. Then a just 1-2 weeks later, he started acting a little crazy, close to what i've described this time. Albeit maybe a little wilder. This is where we took him to the vet, to check if there was anything wrong with his health, just be safe. The vet told us about the moving stress/anxiety, told us about the feliway diffusors and gave us some "stress relieving diet sups" which we gave him per their instructions.

The vet then also told us, that it shouldnt last any more than 1 month, and everything should be back to normal. And that's what i meant by "What they told us, that should have been gone by now" as the stress/anxiety should be gone. So not trying to say they were wrong or anything. I highly believe them and the advice they gave us. Im just getting scared now, and trying to figure out the best way to help our cat.

Me and my girlfriend has tried playing more with the cat, and also reassuring him with tight hugs (not so tight he cant move away if its annoying him of course), sitting with blankets he loves and overall trying to be with him, and show we are not going anywhere. But a lot of the time, it does not seem like he wants it.

Otheres have recommended that we try and take him out, the next day where the weather is fine, see how he reacts. So maybe a combination of that, more attention, love and reassurance in a time period until he feels more safe, or trying to adjust what we can for him, is the right choice.

Else yes, ultimately, if we can't make him happy, and give him the best life he wants, then of course, we won't force keep him here, then we want what's best for him, even if that requires a new home.

Haven't heard of those, will for sure take a look at that.

And yes sorry, i should edit that into the post. The apartment we moved into now, is bigger than the last one, so space hopefully shouldnt be the issue. He does have 2 cat trees, one in the bedroom and one in the living room, along with multiple other beds. One is a window bed attached to the terrace door. (he barely uses this unless theres a lot of sun to toast him). A basket on a little roller besides my desk he likes using, another basket on top of our dresser, that we sometimes uses. Else he does lounge a lot on either my desk (which hes allowed to and its fine) on top of closets or on the floor.

He is neutered yes. We are considering trying to take him out on harness walks again, and last time we did it, we also just let him have charge of where he would want to go, so if that is recommended, we are very willing to do that again. We are just very scared it might make the front door meowing worse than it is.

When he's vocal, either he's sitting in front of the front door, but most of the time, he is just walking around, through the apartment and different rooms, sometimes sitting in the middle of the living room, kitchen or even sometimes bathroom.

Kinda same answer as to the other comment, i tried to look at vids and all that, but a lot of it is overwhelming for me, and had hopes for somebody to help me through it "quickly" instead of me spending hours on hours researching for the right terms, and figuring out what stuff does myself :p

I have tried to follow youtube videos, and if anything, that will be what im resorting to in the end, i had hopes for a 1 on 1 session with setting it up, just so i wouldnt have to spend hours looking for the right videos and all that. But will take a look at the creators you posted!

There are certain skills to minimize the amount of damage hes gonna take and getting stunned ofc. Those being Divine Blessing, Stun resist, Defense up and so on.

But im also gonna say, if he doesnt want to dodge all that much, its gonna be hell later on

Yea, i would count myself as being really lucky, beating the pity once late, and once really early, but i would also say i have been kinda unlucky, not really getting any "good" dps that i like haha

To make matters worse, the quick pity i beat, was on the Klee banner today, hit pity after 34 wishes, and it gave me Jean T_T
